I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the Richmond Marriott. I arrived at the hotel excited for my stay, only to be told my room was not ready. Despite checking in at the designated time, I ended up waiting 2.5 hours for my room, and it wasn’t ready until 6:30 PM. This was incredibly frustrating, especially after a long day of travel. There was no clear communication about why the delay occurred, and no effort was made to provide adequate compensation or a sincere apology for the inconvenience. Waiting this long for a room is completely unacceptable for a hotel that markets itself as a premium establishment. I expected much better service and organization from the Richmond Marriott. Unfortunately, this experience has left me hesitant to stay here again or recommend this hotel to others.

So have stay at this property several times and this last time was super horrible as a Marriott member. Upon checking in (after check in time) the room that was scheduled to be had was not available. No worries there so not a large problem. But then we were put on a floor that they put and entire wedding party/family on and at 4am the party of one of the family member seem to think it was ok to cause a major incident in the hallway with screaming and yelling, waking up the entire floor. The hotel did nothing after security came up twice. So needless to say everyone else was inconvenienced and the hotel seemed like it was no major deal that the rest of the floor had been awake since 4am. Will be rethinking staying there in the future as a member knowing the hotel security did very little during the incident.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff and nice views of the city. Our room was very comfortable and quiet despite it being on a busy city street. Loading zone in front of hotel is cramped and could be managed better. There is a city parking garage behind the hotel that charges $8.00 a night if your out by 6:AM If not its another 8.00. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we will be back.

Shower did not work. Blood stain on carpet. Club ran out of coffe and didn't refill until the next morning. Club ran out of snacks and drinks before 6 pm and didn't refill.

First of all the hotel is nice but ridiculous parking for $45 a day second of all I’m a member just not a platinum so I get charged for breakfast which isn’t that great very basic and you get the same in any great hotels included in the overpriced room rates not going back
