Holes in sheets and should be replaced. Toilet was broken and should be replace. A lot of money was spent on this stay, more attention should be paid.

Horrible service, worst hotel experience in a long time. Put in a dirty room at first, wouldn’t bring items that were missing from the room, not an up to date upkept property by any means. The staff seemed to care nothing about making any of the many frustrations any better.

My family and I were there for a wedding. Although there were a lot of construction happening, the building was still clean. We were originally put in a room without heat but the staff accommodated us and moved us into a much updated room.

This 5 Star hotel went to Zero stars and back to 5 Stars thanks to the nice lady at the Registration Center. NO HOT WATER! The hotel was full because of the Birmingham Bowl and the hot water supply was overloaded. She gave us 2 free vouchers for the breakfast buffet. So the shower was cold, but the breakfast was delicious! Life happens, we will be back.

Hotels.com site did not have alert that hotel is under construction. There is no restaurant and a temporary very limited tiny bar. The entrance is in a different location due to construction.

We had booked a double room, when we got there we got a non renovated room that was not what we were expecting and not worth 270 a night. The beds were hard, it was very outdated, not the cleanest. We asked the front was there anyway they could accommodate us to a renovated room and they did so that was very kind of them.

The hotel is next to a concert venue and they were not prepared for the volume of people checking in before the concert - we waited in a very long line for over an hour to check in. Our reservation was for one king bed, but we were given two double beds. The room could have been cleaner. The beds were not covered well - no bed skirts or anything to cover the bottom of the beds or block the view under the beds. No valet parking was available at check in and due to renovations we were unable to enter the hotel through the normal entrance. We were directed to the parking garage to enter the hotel for check in.

Great location, easy walk to BBJJ and restaurants. Friendly staff. Clean areas. The room itself made it not comfortable. The AC would not get below 73° even if the thermostat was set to 68° (the lowest allowed setting). The room was hot & humid & laying on top of the covers while sweating was not conducive to sleep. Also, take your own pillows.

Check in took forever but they were fully staffed at thebfront desk so I think they just got hit with a lot of people at once. The room was very dark...minimal lighting. Carpet was frayed and galling apart. Using the akywalk from the hotel to the convention center was great. Easy security and ticket scanning to get into the event. Valet was horrible. Took forever to get car checked in...was very backed up. Then when we requested the car for pick up, it was a headache. Waited 20 minutes only to find out the employee was asleep in his vehicle across the street. Dont recommend the valet. Pay to park yourself

Called to check in early and was told I could. Got to the hotel and had to wait an hour to check in (after 4) and my room still wasn’t ready. When I showered the conditioner was empty. I called the front desk and they were rude
