The Robert Treat Hotel was fantastic. The staff was incredibly helpful and were saviors while I was stuck in Newark during winter storm Blair. The staff went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable despite several cancellations on my return trip home. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough they are awesome

Broken phone in room, outdated television with big green streaks on the screen. Woman I spoke with from front desk was unfriendly / inhospitable when I called to report damages in room :( Grounds are VERY dark and feel unsafe at night. Sad I have another night here.

Hotel needs a make over , the phone is not working in the room . I’ve big rooms it’s a beautiful property that’s not being taken care of . Breakfast was good No room service - I wish they had it

Great stay, comfortable and friendly.

We spent the parsippany Sheraton for the new year 2025. Actually we drive to Newmark Train Station and took a train to the New York City everyday during our stay. However, We tried the swimming pool and the gym which were both good for us. The staff on our floor is kindly and good. We felt like at home.

Beautiful place . Rooms fresh and clean. I reserved a king room but got a 2 queen beds and im grateful for that. Needed it. The bar *the bartender * welcoming and comfortable. Bar menu was good. Tried a Jersey Girl drink and a Dirty Matini. Liked both. Ordered a chicken avacodo wrap that was delicious.

I’ve been coming here since I was a child when they first opened! Today being New Year’s Eve they gave our room away. My husband and I were given a two double bed room instead of the queen that I booked. They offered a free breakfast full of pork which we do not eat. When I said that he said eat fruit. Other option to cancel and leave and take it up with Expedia. I was given 3k points to compensate for the error however now my new years is ruined and my husband and I get to sleep in separate beds. So much for loyalty. Crazy I’m the one that sends my adult children and their friends. Guess it’s time for a new place.

Sweet and warm place outside town.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Outdoor front entrance trash cans overflowing, trash bags left piled up. Bathroom was dirty. Carpeting and furniture old and stained. Housekeeping knocking on the door at 7:30am waking us up. Shower drain was clogged, so standing in two inches of dirty water. Fire alarm starts going off when I’m in the shower at 9:30am? Just not a great experience

Beautiful design and exterior. Front desk was helpful and friendly. Room wasnt very clean (a prescription pill bottle under bed visable as soon as we got in, and bathroom outdated and shower felt slimey) enjoyed the hot tub even there was agroup of children that kept going in and out despite rules saying no children.

While Expedia corrected our issues working with the property, we were disheartened to find upon check-in the room we reserved was unavailable. My family of four was provided a king room with a pull out couch- not what we confirmed in our reservation (2 beds). Due to the inconvenience we were simply offered breakfast vouchers. When entering our room we did not have sheets, blankets nor pillows for the pull out couch. We called guest services and requested additional pillows. They had the security guard deliver one pillow with sheets and a small blanket. They explained they had no more pillows for our children. Upon making the bed, I discovered the linens were soiled and stained. This hotel does not appear in any way as a four star hotel. It is old, needs maintenance, not cleaned well and the front desk staff in the evening incredibly rude.
