My family recently stayed at the SpringHill Suites in Alexandria, Virginia, and overall it was a very good experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Washington, D.C., with easy access to major highways and public transportation.
The room was clean, spacious, and modern, with a comfortable bed and a separate seating area that made it feel more like a small apartment. The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety of hot and cold items, and the staff kept the area tidy and well-stocked.
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, offering suggestions for local dining and attractions. The fitness center was small but functional, and the property felt safe and quiet.
The only downside was that parking was a bit limited and could feel cramped, especially at night. Also, during peak times, the breakfast area got crowded.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Alexandria/D.C. area for business or leisure.

The property is nice and the rooms are comfortable. We did have to ask to change rooms due to an unclean bathroom and a smell. The staff was understanding and immediately complied with my request. The new room was clean and comfortable. The property is older and could use a renovation, but it is decent and well kept.

I liked this hotel! It was an overall great experience; the rooms were spacious and clean, and I felt safe in the area surrounding the hotel. My only complaints are the parking fee, pool, and cost of beverages. Typically I never pay for parking, but they had a $10 fee per day. I only stayed one night so it wasn’t pricey, but I feel like parking should be free. Second, this hotel advertises a pool and whirlpool, but the whirlpool was shut down; a little bit of a bummer for my family. The last thing is my husband bought a basic can of Dr. Pepper from the front desk, and it costed $8. Once again, not a huge deal, but I feel like it should be more reasonable. Otherwise, it was a great stay!
