It's good place

This property was DIRTY. Needs an overhaul to say the least, when we checked in we were both on the fence. Seeing how it was late and we were simply in need of a place to sleep we checked in anyway, AGAINST our better judgement (btw the check desk has paper signs of Two Doctors Staying at the property and seeing patients. Lists their room numbers, hauntingly disturbing. When we finally got to our room I turned our bed back to find pubic hairs covering the sheets in addition to crumbs all over the interior bedding..... My husband returned to the desk to ask for a refund, as we were in the room a total of 5-7 minutes before discovering the hair and crumbs the desk manager went to the room checked the bed and asked my husband "Are you unhappy with the crumbs in the bed"? My husband politely requested a refund again.... Still waiting to see if they will honor the refund back to our card several days later, however I don't want anyone to endure this.

Great room for two

The shower curtain in our room was very dirty. It needed to be changed and laundered. There was very little to eat for breakfast. Basically pancakes and waffles. No fruit, no yogurt, no granola and only one type of cereal. I talked to some people who stay there regularly who said that usually they have a very nice breakfast with eggs, bacon, fruit and other items. However, I told him I thought that was because the person who usually takes care of that may have been on vacation. When we arrived, we only had two large bath towels no hand towels no wash rags. We were down the hall from the laundry room so I was able to pick those up myself. I asked for a folding luggage rack to put my husband‘s luggage on, but they said they didn’t have any. I’ve never stayed in a hotel where they didn’t have at least one of those available.

Did not like our stay

The hotel is average. I would not call the breakfast a breakfast. There was platter with a few slices of bread, some jelly in a squeeze bottle and a tub of butter. There was some cereal and coffee. If you are going to advertise a breakfast, then provide one. Else, say that you do not have a breakfast.

The staff is friendly enough I guess. Hard to tell. The property is older (early 90s?) and a little worn but servicable. The breakfast was substandard and gross but my child ate it. The atmosphere in the dining room was cold and uninviting. The main offering seemed to be sugar. We went to the pool and hot tub area and it, while old and out of date and wierd was sort of fun. Glad we were the only ones there be uase my wife wore a really dumb looking bathing suit and i would have been embarrassed otherwise. The whole pool area was very concrete like and felt sort of like going back in time or to east Germany. The lights were off to save money (I assume ) but there were windows. In the morning there was a gaggle of trashy chicks who had been out partying smoking by the front door so no getting around the haze.

Nicely located for our needs

Service was slow. Had to ring bell several times to get checked in and it was no better in the morning when trying to eat breakfast. We were told it started at 6 but at 616 nothing was still out i went up to ask if breakfast was being served and the guy seemed to just be waking up and just said yes and stayed looking at the computer awkwardly until i asked again amd stated the sign said 6am thats when i was told 630 and even when it was finally ready there wasn't much out the bread was hard and waffle mix was sour.

Very convenient location to us as launching pat for side adventure

I noticed a few things. Parking lot was dark and gloomy. A very bad repair was made to the sidewalk outside front door and was slopping looking. There was a dirty rug in the elevator. I noticed a few broken or missing door handles. Laundry room washer and dryer were dirty inside. I saw broken side bed furniture. There were several big boxes in plain sight inmain lobby. Bread at breakfast bar was old and stale.

The rooms door dead bolt was super hard to lock. I would have to lift the door to get it to lock. The bathroom fan didn't work. The breakfast was minimal, bland waffle or cereal. We did get to see a herd of elk right behind the hotel the morning we were leaving.

The bed is very uncomfortable

The fire alarm started going off both nights very early and it went off for hours and prevented me from sleeping. It was a constant beeping that echos throughout our room 200. I probably won’t book here again everything else was just fine
