120 years old building without old charm

A great stay. The room was spacious, quiet, & very comfortable.

Liked that they had security. The connected restaurants was nice. Lovely people at the front desk. Check in and out was easy. Very helpful with any questions. Located in the middle of everything. Great stay.

Very awesome place to stay. There is no free parking so keep in mind when booking you will need to pay $25 per day for parking.

The hotel is a boutique style hotel located in the heart of downtown walking distance to everything or short drive. Food in the close proximity was fabulous and is just a lowkey gem for downtown Salt Lake City.

If you want the feel of an early 20th Century hotel with very convenient access to restaurants, sports, shopping, arts, and entertainment, The Peery is for you. Rooms could use some detail cleaning and upkeep, but the common/ public space is very nostalgic and quaint. And the staff was absolutely great.

Such a beautiful and interesting property! Definitely will go back!

Great boutique hotel ideally located in downtown Salt Lake

Great place to stay if you want to be downtown in SLC.

Everything was great. Blake at the front desk was very friendly and ready to assist. The parking was the only downside. I don’t mind paying but it’s a public lot with very tight spaces not just for the hotel so there’s no guarantee you’ll even have a spot and if you have luggage be prepared to haul it through the lot. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, coffee, shopping.

My check in was fast. No one bothered me with my sign outside my door. Great that I could turn on the air conditioning and cool down my room, even in December. 10/10..

Didn’t know the hotel is haunted

The convenient location of the Peery is fantastic. We were able to walk from the hotel to just about everything we wanted to see. If you plan on going to the Temple or Tabernacle, it's a walk to both, saving on trying to find parking near either. The SLC convention center is also just a walk. The hotel itself was clean and had character, not a cookie cutter type. The room we first got was a little small for both of us and our luggage for 4 days, 3 nights. We asked the desk clerk if there was anything he could do, and he was able to switch us to a larger room. It suited us just fine. We appreciated the two bars downstairs as well as Eggsburgh which is open to the lobby during business hours. The food there was really good and the prices reasonable. They even have fresh squeezed orange juice. The rate at the hotel was really good for the easy location to the heart of downtown. There are pubs/bars /microbrewies around the corner and across the street. I recommended RedRock, they have a absolutely delicious brie starter that is out of this world and they are just around the corner. The beds at the Perry are comfortable as well as the pillows. The towels are thick and fluffy and not the usual scratchy ones and the toiletries were really good as well. The hotel is part of the Hilton properties but you dont feel like it is, because it's different. There's history at this place and I love that they are keeping that in the foreground. The staff was wonderful and always greeted us.
