In a great part of Boston near the TD Garden and Little Italy.

This was a cute boutique hotel and the service and friendliness of the front desk staff was amazing and very helpful!! It's the perfect location for a downtown stay and within walking distance to the freedom trail sites, a lot of restaurants, bus/subway stops, etc. The room was perfect for a solo travel, the bed was not the most comfortable, but not terrible, views are limited, and unfortunately you can hear everything outside and your neighbors in other rooms. Overall, I would recommend this hotel!!!

We stayed at The Boxer to attend a Celtics game so in that regard it was convenient. The cons: cleanliness was below average (rusty shower rod, worn carpet, left overs in refrigerator left that were not ours). It was also very noisy. You can hear everything in the hallway and there was periodically (including early in the morning) a loud sound lasting a minute or so that we think was the ice machine. When we first checked in around 4ish someone who worked at the hotel barged into our room (luckily we had the dead bolt thing out so it didn’t fully open) he said nothing and then closed the door, my husband went after to see who it was and the man said he was checking on the rooms. It just seemed weird and uncomfortable, shouldn’t the staff know when rooms have been checked into? We also had someone knock on our door at 2:30 am and when my husband checked the person asked for extra towels. It was a little scary and the person ran off down the stairwell when we didn’t answer them. We called the front desk and they said they would look into it but it was very strange.

Parking situation horrible. Cars were parked in their loading area. Couldn’t bring our luggage in. Had to walk from down the street from parking garage lugging our stuff.

The hotel is clean and trendy but the staff wasn’t the best. We were aggressively told check in was at 3PM because we got there early. We didn’t even ask to check in. $50 parking per night which is like 3 blocks away. They charge $25 a night for an amenity fee too which I’m not sure what those amenities are. WiFi? I’m rarely charged for that if I’m not in Vegas. Location abs cleanliness are its best attributes. If you can find a comparable price, choose it over this place.

It was adequate. It was a fine experience for what it was. No fuss. I like the late check out at noon. Stuff were nice enough. The room was adequate size.

Great location

The staff was above and beyond accomodating, the room was great, and the location was perfect for our Anniversary weekend plans at both Faneuil Hall and TD Garden.

Loved this hotel, very close to TD garden

Always great place, 50 yards from the Celtics Basketball game, which we have tickets. Only negative is that the price doubles when there is a game. We stay there all the time, And sometimes for one night can easily exceed $350 plus. All the employees are great except this weekend, the elevator had 1 employee in it and the door started to close while we were at the door. She made no attempt to reach out and touch the button, she just smiled as the door closed.very rude.

Check in was very quick

Boxer is an excellent option for stay in Boston. Even though you might need uber to move around a bit, stay inside hotel and staff itself will take out those concerns away. Hotel is quiet, clean, comfort & luxurious. Breakfast is served and good meals as well.

I liked the proximity to the TD Garden as well as the options to travel on the train. The room was extremely small (Traditional Room King Bed) and almost impossible to move around in. It reminded me of a very small boutique hotel room that I’ve stayed in while visiting NYC. The staff was extremely friendly, epically Corinne at the front desk.

Could not fault the location or the staff. The restaurant was good with different options. However, the room itself was much smaller than expected. The base of the bed stuck out a lot which meant walking around the bed was quite cramped. Only one output in the room worked and one side light was working. When we was there the hot water cut out for all the rooms and this lasted just over 24 hours which was a bit rubbish. Location is fantastic especially for the transport and visiting TD Gardens.

Fantastic location. Walking distance to the garden and Fanuel Hall. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Will stay here again!

Positives: friendly, helpful staff; good location; some nice touches in the room, e.g. bathrobes, umbrella, full(?)-sized ironing board; very hot water available (caveat: apparently there was NO hot water the week before); heat functioned well; comfortable bed; easy-to-use key card Negatives: no microwave or chest of drawers; flaky Internet; single elevator inadequate for guests plus staff; understaffed restaurant; no computer available to guests

NO ROOM SERVICE. NO WIFI. TIGHT ROOMS. LOW CEILINGS. DONT STAY HERE.

Cute boutique style hotel near Boston Garden. Loved the style. Small and friendly check in area. Only a couple spots out front to pull up and unload. Panting is offsite a very short ways away. Room was cute. Perfect for our travels! Adding to our list of places to stay in Boston!
