Never knew of the Hotel until my last visit to DC. Would always consider on my subsequent trips to Washington DC. Excellent hotel and close to places I visit.

It was a wonderful stay! Highly recommend!!

The property was chic and conveniently located. Short walk to park, restaurants, and shopping. Also, loved the bar area and daily happy hour at 5! I will definitely be back.

The rooms are a bit small but loved the fact that they had ample amount of towels - I’m usually calling front desk for more. Bar and lobby area nice

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff

Although the hotel was decent and well-kept, I find guest service questionable. We had a couple of young children in our party and at 8:54, we received a call that there was too much noise. These kids maybe were excited for a few minutes. Also, quiet time is probably 9:30-10 but not before 9. The room doors slammed louder than these kids. Even without kids, I would not stay here. The clientele is too arrogant.

Excellent location and service

I had a wonderful experience at The Darcy Hotel. From the very beginning, the service was impeccable—the staff was warm, attentive, and highly professional throughout my stay. It was truly a comfortable and special experience. I want to give a very special shoutout to Eleanka Wolmarans, Front Office Manager, for her outstanding support and follow-up regarding the black cap I accidentally left in my room. Her kindness and dedication made all the difference. I also want to thank he amazing team for their excellent service and attentiveness. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel in a great DC

The hotel was incredibly cozy, welcoming, and clean! I appreciated how the receptionists warmly greeted my dog. The atmosphere in the bar and throughout the hotel was stylish and inviting. I will definitely be returning in the future!

First of all I booked the wrong dates for my trip but Expedia got on the phone with them and they changed my booking with no fuss. That was a relief. Now we’ve stayed at The Darcy before and thought we might give it a go again as the 1st time was an amazing experience and they did not disappoint. From the moment we walked up to the hotel the bell service saw our parched faces and offered us water before we got to the check in counter. Check in was a breeze and a smile. We got to our room. It was small, cozy, welcoming and smelling good. There was a large chair in the corner, bed the was comfortable, the pillows had a good feel to them and they were good. The lining was nice. We slept very well on that bed with no complaints. They had 5 o’clock cocktails. It was a lavender type drink which wasn’t bad, the lavender grows on u after the 2nd drink. Time didn’t allow us to visit the bar this trip but we already they do it right with top top shelf drinks. We had breakfast our last day and it was good. Portions were good and the pancakes were nice and fluffy. Overall we had another good experience at The Darcy. I’m wondering if I can pull myself to make a reservation somewhere else on our next visit.

Comfortable rooms, good vibe, helpful staff.

I am giving this otherwise fine property a low rating in protest. They charge an amenity fee of $35 a night extra that, for me, is a classic bait and switch. The fact that this amount will be paid at the hotel on top of the advertised rate is disguised in smallprint during checkout. You are likely to miss it. You probably wont even notice since it will come off your deposit. I happened to look at a card they gave me at check-in which had the charge indicated as the cost of some pretty lame services such as internet and free bottles of water, stuff that almost all hotels now provide for free. My fury stems from the fact that this disguised fee prevents a fair comparison across hotels when booking on travel sites. It is very possible that I might not have chosen The Darcy if they had included this fee transparently in their advertised rate. For that reason, I consider the practice totally dishonest and a blot on the reputation of what is otherwise a clean, classy, and very well located establishment.

I will not go back to stay there!!!

The restaurant was the greatest! Food was delicious!
