I love the look and the feel of early American on the East Coast. For the one night in Summit, New Jersey, I stayed at this old colonial house that was built in the late 1800’s. The house was simply but thoughtfully furnished, and the wraparound porch was especially charming. The nostalgic decorations and all the traces of the past were particularly appealing to me.😍

Not a fancy place but very comfortable like staying in your parents old home. Very nice experience.

Room 11 is really better for 1 person as recommended

Beautiful mansion with great history and antique furniture. Staff very friendly and breakfast was amazing!

Sadie did an excellent job with my reservations. Blanca was a lovely staff member at breakfast. The bed was super comfortable. The room was nice. I will stay here again soon!

Property had issues with fire alarm going off which led to evacuation because the alarm was just unbearably loud. We did eventually get settled and hotel is historic and comfortable. Some of the rooms are extremely small but we got an upgrade with the alarm issue.

Friendly staff, clean room, great breakfast

Such a beautiful and charming property, very friendly staff. Cozy and delightful. The only detractor was that our mini fridge was not plugged in and we didn't realize it so all the food we had brought got spoiled.

Charming place. Lovely lounge and breakfast area. Coffee and tea available all day and cold but complete breakfast in the morning. Small rooms so best for singles and couples.

So nice to be able to use the lounge and have a cup of tea if you arrive early

Great place to stay. We chose to get out of NYC and were glad we stayed at the Inn. Very comfortable, cozy and safe experience. The only deduction of a star was the smell of marijuana that was coming from the hallways from someone apparently choosing to be rude and smoke in their room, all rooms were to be non-smoking. I don’t suppose you can fault the Innkeeper for that but it was a downside. Still would come and stay again.

The convenience and price made our stay worth it. We had a concert in the city and were easily able to park and walk to the train. This is a bed and breakfast and how ever charming it appears, not much sleep was had. The walls and floorboards are thin so creaking and water running kept me up all night.

Love this place, and I love this town.

Wonderful little B&B in a sweet little town. Will definitely be back if I am in the area!

The accommodations and the staff was absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend this venue to stay in.

it's a lovely Inn. we have stayed here in the past. The room this time was small for us - we much prefer a larger room and a larger bed

I always love staying here. I had stayed in one of the larger rooms the last couple of times, and was honestly not as happy with the smaller room this time around. I felt like it was crammed, and the bed wasn't as comfortable.

We like everything about it from the tear caretaker who watches the grounds. He is extremely friendly and and the lady in the office I forgot their names but they have been awesome and I definitely want to come back the room the food just the area itself. I pray for that place to stay strong and stay in business forever more and that place itself made me fell in love with New Jersey that I don’t want leave New Jersey everyone has been awesome

We had an amazing time! The Inn is decorated beautifully, our room was fantastic! We are definitely coming back.
