The Flat NYC

I loved how clean and safe this hotel is. Beds are comfortable, modern looking furniture, hallways smell nice. Bathrooms are shared but they were available and clean every time i needed to use one. Also, there are sinks in rooms. The hotel has very convenient location, close to a lot of restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the decor! Wish there was an elevator but I also understand that it's a super old building! Overall great experience.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was small but I expected a much for the price. They're an affordable way to visit NYC!

Great room. Do NOT book if you cannot handle stairs!!!! No elevator. I would stay again!

Remote Control didn’t work. But solid place to stay for the night.

Stayed for 5 nights. Fantastic location, walking distance to everything. Room was good, bit noisy by the stairs but earplugs did the trick. Bathroom access never an issue. Room 305 needs a chair or table to put your bag/clothes on. Room is bare with just a bed and a little bedside table. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything you need for a short stay in the heart of NYC! Just steps from all major trains and right across from Eataly (amazing coffee, pastries, and other Italian goodies.) The rooms are small (hey, it’s Manhattan!), but cozy and efficient. Heads-up: showers are shared, so pack some flip-flops. Bonus: Fresh coffee and HOT tea all day long. Thank you for the excellent experience!

Great stay. The only issue I had was the road noise. I would recommend white noise at night.

From beginning to end the staff was amazing. Shared bathrooms were always clean. Rooms were small, but hey, its NY your not supposed to stay in your room except to sleep. Had everything I needed. Loved the fact they always had cold bottles water and coffee wheneever you needed it.If I come back to NY I will definitely stay here again.

L’hôtel est vraiment bien situé dans Manhattan et facile à trouver. Chambre avec lit confortable et de bonne taille.pas de restauration mais à dispo thé, eau, café ce qui est appréciable. 2 SDB’s par étage à partager mais aucun souci, pratique et je n’ai jamais attendu. Par-contre, pas d’ascenseur et si vous êtes au 5e la montée est raide! Mieux vaut demander 1 ou 2:-) Rue plus ou moins bruyante mais fenêtre pas vraiment insonorisée. Globalement bonne expérience!

Room and shared bathrooms are clean, free tea and coffee, great location.

My 20yo daughter stayed here for 4 nights on her own. Loved being so close to subway and walking distance to NY things. Thought her little room was the BEST. Loved it! Had a sink and mirror so she could get ready for her dance events. Did not have any issue with the shared bathroom. Amazing price for Manhattan. If she goes again, she will stay here again for sure.

Super friendly staff. Liked that they stored my luggage on my last day. Suggest that they put a small chair in the room and a paper towel dispenser in the shared bathroom.

Fabulous stay…legit NY hotel-stylish, clean, comfortable bed and linens. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Minimalist on amenities but definitely will be back.
