When we first pulled in the outside looks NOTHING like the pictures so we were skeptical. The inside of the room did match the pictures and was clean. We were attending a concert so we only stayed 2 nights. That's exactly what this hotel is good for, 1 or 2 nights. I was also disappointed that the restaurant was closed and when I say closed I mean abandoned. It looks like it hasn't been touched in years!! They never came to clean our room after the 1st night so we had to ask for more towels and the front desk was accommodating. I honestly don't know if I would stay here again.

As i climbed into bed the first night i had difficulty slipping between the sheets. Rather than sheets, there was an empty duvet cover between the matress cover and a bedspread which serves as a lightweight blanket. I slept between the duvet cover and the bedspread. The next day, I complained to the front desk clerk, who didn't seem surprised, but promptly dispatched the housekeeper, who stripped the bed and replaced one duvet cover with two duvet covers, so that i would have top & bottom sheet-equivalents. She made two trips to her linen supply, however, as one of the "fresh" duvet covers that she initially grabbed was either dirty or stained. (I didn't get a close look.) When i asked the housekeeper whether they had sheets, she said "no", because their patrons throw them away so management doesn't buy new ones. She mentioned that the patrons were "black people", apparently to explain their bizarre behavior. Evidently they do have security problems as there's a cage over the smoke detector. On the bright side, I liked the modern shower and stylish bathroom sink, the room was very clean and, otherwise, in good condition and generally quiet. Were it not for the matters mentioned in my first three paragraphs, i would have called this a decent 2* motel and might have stayed there again. I don't see how, with a straight face, anyone would call this a 3* hotel. I know this sounds unbelievable. So, I made sure to take photos.

We were enamored with the sink. Never had we seen such an inventive approach to marine line aesthetic and gold rimming. The coffee was from a famous brand called armpit Arabica and was a must. There are no hoovers, but Chencha mops the floors regularly. Popular with 3 girls and papi protection. De riguer. Arrive by LIR strictly and dazzle

It is not nice and it doesn’t feel particularly safe. When you walk into the lobby, the front desk is protected by bulletproof glass. There were people sitting outside their rooms on lawn chairs watching me as I made my way to my room. The room was not clean or comfortable. Mattress was an old spring mattress, very hard. I immediately booked another room at a different hotel and left. Don’t let the pictures fool you - this place is not charming or nice or comfortable.

The personnel were welcoming

The room was very clean and quiet. Check in was very smooth. There was a comfortable bed and clean shower. It was perfect for my needs.

My stay at the Freeport Inn and Marina was my worst hotel stay by far. I killed a roach, was bitten by mosquitoes, the room had a strange odor, guests were smoking weed openly, and the bathroom mirror area was too dark to see your own face, much less do makeup. The Expedia photos are doctored and the inn in reality is not as lovely and polished as the photos shown online. I asked a front desk person upon check out to have a manager call me to discuss needed changes. No one called. After returning home, I made a second request to another front desk person at the inn to have a manager call me, and as of today, five days after my stay, no one has called. Terrible is the best way to describe my experience! I would never stay there again! To be fair and objective, I should add: the television worked, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom itself had a nice design. — A Disappointed Traveler

Great for a short stay. Close to Jones beach. Room was adequate. Great water pressure and cool air conditioning

My room had a disgusting order, and the floors were extremely dirty

Onsite restaurant is closed. No view of the marina as described Place is a dump Hour room rentals to get laid

Was charged extra money for staying there, when I asked to sweep up hair that was blonde from around the toilet and in the bathroom area. And that was for incidental's that may occur. Made up my own bed before leaving and it was the same way that I made it when I came back. I was also locked out of my room when trying to get ready for a service.

This was a quick overnight after attending a show at Jones Beach. The motel was in a very convenient location to the venue. It was very clean and the front desk staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. Would stay again.

Excellent shower.

Decent enough place to stay. No breakfast included. Absolutely HATED the bathroom mirror. It made me feel like it was a two way mirror, it was so creepy. The lights outside the rooms were so bright that it looked like daylight through the blackout curtains. I don’t think I would stay here again

Lock latch missing from outside door. Reception area too much disinfectant smell. No elevator.

Enjoyed our stay.

The room was dirty, including the bed sheets, I had to request clean ones. When we came back during the night from the activity we had, I noticed a few things missing (snacks and a shower scrub) We called the manager and at least he told the employee working to order a pizza, so I'm grateful for that.
