Everything is ok except the hotel is a bit old. No restaurant, no refrigerator so need to find the meal plan outside.

There was no heat in the middle of winter

Mattress is divine and room spacious. Would have liked slippers and bathrobe. But I definitely want to go back!

I loved the place. I felt like I was in the 1920s. Highly recommend

great initial vibe. Room was cold, HVAC heating wasn't working. Luckily had a small heating unit on hand ( i wonder why!!! ) Had it on all night, but it was noisy, so not a good rest. No hot water in the shower in the morning, even though it was warm at the sink. Complained verbally to the front desk: he just said sorry, and asked whether they could go and check. Way too little, way too late.Totally not an adequate reply for a $ 400 night in mid Jan NYC. Coffee btw was horrible, probably the milk was spoiled, but the bar guy didn't care that much even to throw it. Don;t know it can get much worse.....

We were in town for one night! This hotel was so quaint and perfect for our stay. It was within walking distance of where we needed to be, plenty of shopping like Chelsea Market, & restaurants! Will definitely be back and recommend to family and friends!

Absolutely terrible hotel, rooms are tiny and extremely outdated. This place looked creepy and they need a renovation immediately. Way too expensive and should be rated 2 star hotel.

I liked the hotel overall with beautiful exterior and clean room. One afterthought is I did not take in fact that I will be staying in the wintertime. The hotels closest metro is about 2 blocks away and is pretty freezing to be walking over 10 min.especially at night. It might be better for a walk around the high line if summer time.

The staff at the Highline Hotel was very friendly and helpful! We had to leave early and they were very accomodating in letting us out of the last night of our stay. The hotel is very old and there is nothing that they can do about that. It is charming, but the fact that it is so old leads to some problems during the stay. The floors creak so loudly that it sounds like people in the hallway walking by are in your room. The rug was old and creased and the furniture was uncomfortable. If you decide to stay here, just know these things. They can be overlooked and if you are looking for something "different" than a chain hotel, then this is the place for you!

My son and I and our 2 doodles come for Christmas Eve. The dog park is a few blocks away and we have dinner at historic Empire Diner. Its a special night

Bathroom needs a hook on wall for towel. The room needs one comfortable chair, the “sling” chair is cute but not at all practical for sitting

Great historic hotel in a perfect spot, away from the madness but close to everything.

Great dog friendly hotel!!!!! Morning coffee hour with all of the dogs was a hoot!!!! Room had one of the best mattresses I’ve experienced in a hotel stay.

We loved this hotel. Our room was charming and very comfortable. The hotel staff was welcoming and we loved the ambiance of the lobby. We’re definitely planning to stay here again.

Room was disappointing; very minimal and rather rustic; not any luxury features at all. Expected more.

Very cool older building in a great location. Rooms smaller than expected and quite loud at night on 10th. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay!
