It was great experience. Everyone were kind from check-in to check-out. The room was huge and clean. And close to many fancy restaurent.

This place is he best. I have experienced many hotels in ny, but this hotel is the best. Everyone is so nice and kind and the room is very clean and nice. The best place to stay to reach everywhere and every memory with this hotel was the best. I strongly recommend here.

My son and me we had perfect shopping days in NYC. The Marmara was therefore the best hotel! Excellent service, big beautiful apartment…. Wonderful breakfast…. And a wonderful pool and spa! 💯 it was the best trip we have had to nyc! Thanks to all the employees there!

We enjoyed our stay & the amenities; however, we were looking forward to the rooftop patio and there was not one available. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous and there was plenty of food & shopping options within a walking distance. The subway is a few steps away and very convenient to use as well. We would stay here again!

Stayed in this hotel before and was happy. But in this visit, there was a definite decline in the quality of service. Slippers were not provided. The kettle was not working and I had to call for a resolution. Soap was not provided at the bathroom sink. Simple expectations that were not met. Wrote to the Manager but did not get a response. Overall impression was that there was no care put into making a guest feel welcomed.

Door service desk was excellent, room service was presentable and timely and very friendly. Pool staff and spa are great and attentive. Room cleanliness was awesome. It was a 10 for me

Staff is excellent and friendly.

No air conditioner in room and could not open window. Ricidulous.

The air conditioner in my room was not working. I went to the lobby to complain but the front desk man was on break. I came back over an hour later. He was still not there. Unacceptable.

The staff was very responsive when I called asking for assistance with the cable and when the shower knob fell off. I appreciated their quick response.

Nice hotel, quiet and classy. Was upgraded to a nice suite.

The property is right next door to a homeless shelter

We have been travelling to Marmara constantly for more that 10 years now. The hotel needs a remodelation, everything is quite old and used. The service of housecleaning is terrible - they just came into our room while we were sleeping without knocking; that happened twice eventhough we insisted on privacy The personal in the bar and reception did treat us nicely

Amenities and location

Hotel is very chic and staff is very friendly and accommodating. Only thing I did not like was a lot of loiterers outside the hotels neighbor is very intimidating.

Waited over 2 hours to check in. Yes, I realize check-in is 3 pm but I’ve never arrived to a hotel early and waited more than 30 mins for my room to be ready. They held fast to the 3 pm time and we had to wait in line at 3 pm, behind others who just walked in, to get checked in for our room after sitting for 2 hours in the lobby. Room was large for NYC, shower leaked all of the bathroom floor. Pool was a nice amenity but the elevators were gross - dingy and dirty with peeling wallpaper. For the price, it met expectations. Don’t think I’d ever stay here again though. I’d rather pay a bit more for a better experience.
