If you’re seeking a stylish, upscale hotel experience in New York City, this property may fall short of expectations. The furnishings and carpeting are noticeably dated, which detracts from the overall ambiance. However, its location is truly exceptional—ideal for exploring the city. Service was inconsistent: while a few front desk staff were courteous, others were markedly less welcoming. The bell staff reflected a similar disparity; Teodoro was notably gracious, but several others appeared more motivated by gratuities than genuine hospitality.

Spacious rooms for NYC, but the hotel feels dated. Front desk service is hit or miss. If you raise a complaint, beware—FL manager Jonny may call security, which felt more like intimidation than help.

This is an older hotel, and while the facilities show their age, the rooms offer noticeably more space than many newer options. The front desk experience can be inconsistent — some staff are warm and helpful, while others are surprisingly curt. Communication between shifts isn’t always smooth, so it’s wise to confirm any arrangements in writing and stay proactive during your stay.

최고의 위치. 타임스퀘어가 코 앞이고 센트럴 파크는 걸어서 10분 거리. 소호 및 로워 맨하탄으로 연결되는 지하철역도 근처에 많음. 방이 매우 크고 깨끗하고 에어컨과 수압 다 훌륭함.

About a five minute walk to Broadway and Times Square the staff was amazingly, friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was dated but in a good way.

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht, weil wir mehrfach early Checkin vorher angefragt hatten, uns eine Bearbeitung zugesichert hatte. Als wir ankamen, wusste man von nichts und wir mussten hundemüde 3 Stunden in der Lobby abhängen. Das war schon schade. Ansonsten sind einige Mitarbeiter sensationell, andere völlig überfordert und dann unfreundlich.

Staff is amazing

Beautiful Junior Suite. Extremely quiet and comfortable. Doorman was so kind and helpful. Great location. Old world feel.

Beautiful hotel and service right in the middle of everything

Clean room and bathroom.

The hotel was central, old world with charm yeah needed a refitting but i still loved it because it was clean. We asked for coffee and tea making facilities and that was no problem for them, with no charge! It should be on there website. And we had great wifi in our room.

Great sized rooms. Good hotel, nice staff. Very slightly dated but really good overall.

Charming hotel with fine service

Rooms are elegantly appointed, very clean and quiet. The hotel is convenient to Times Square and public transportation. The hotel staff is most attentive and welcoming.

Extremely large rooms for NYC.

It is a quality hotel. Location is perfect convenient to everything you need, transport, eateries and close enough to attractions you may want to explore. The size and luxury feel of the room we had was excellent and very much appreciated, as space and quality accommodation in NYC is at a premium. What set this place apart from all others we stayed at on this trip was the warm welcoming staff, receiving great service with a smile and the genuine willingness to help you. Nothing was a problem at all. Special thanks to the lovely doormen Theodore and Cesar who are the people that greet you first and first impressions matter and also farewell you at the end and they do not disappoint! Also thanks to Rajiv who showed us to our room, helped with our bags, explained the room and hotel amenities thoroughly and Daniel the concierge who on checkout kindly recommended a lovely Italian place for lunch to fill in time while holding our bags for a late flight. Everyone we met thwre includinghotel reception and housekeeping were fantastic. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to NYC and will be back to stay on our next visit for sure. The location, staff and cleanliness are absolutely top notch. Breakfast is okay too. The only 2 things to consider are that there is no phone service for some reason once you're in the room, so wifi onky, and there is absolutely no view from the room, it's actually blocked. But all other things outshine it. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, very welcoming employees and the location is walking distance from everything pretty much, close to the subway as well. Definitely recommend, would 100% stay again.

Nice location

Staff were great! Very easy to walk to theatre, time square, restaurants etc. close to everything. Room was spacious and clean.
