The Oxbow Hotel

This is a very cute boutique hotel. The record players are a fun touch. We enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable. Although the restaurant wasn’t open on a Monday there were still walkable options close to the hotel.

The rooms were cute. None of the records we chose skipped. Staff was great and we really enjoyed the jazz music in the lounge.

Second time staying at The Oxbow. I love his location. Only few minutes away from Downtown. Near to park and trails.I appreciate the atmosphere, different than corporate hotels.

Room was just ok. Smelled musty. AC unit was noisy every 20 minutes. Staff did not seem to care when I told them.

Last minute stay that turned out rerrific. The Lakely bar and jazz club iana great little place attached to the hotel.

Stay was great! All the staff was really friendly, bartenders on New Year’s Eve were excellent. Smashburger was delicious. Only issue would be the showerhead in room 21 does have buildup on it. So while taking a shower, it shoots out a bunch of tiny streams, which are slightly painful.

Great location, comfortable and clean rooms. The decor is fabulous.

We had a reason to be in Eau claire for the night. We picked this hotel and I’m so glad we did. There are plenty of other places all around to explore. Many restaurants and bars, etc. Once we arrived at The Oxbow we found no reason to leave. The hotel itself is so comfortable and welcoming. All the little details that make you feel at home. They had a collection of records with record player in each room so that we could enjoy some music. Once we freshened up, we came downstairs in the hunt for dinner and found The Lakely is right on property and had live music and wonderful food. As far as the service the people there were so kind. It was just a fantastic experience to be there. We can’t wait to go back.

Staff were amazing and the accommodations were neat and clean. The most challenging element of our stay was parking.

First time, weekend getaway, clean comfortable room and great live music in the bar.

I’ve stayed at the Oxbow many times, great facility with unique room amenities - record player in each room, albums at front desk. While I prefer a room inside the main building, the rooms in the annex are good just maybe not the same overall experience. Great restaurant on-site. Will stay again.

It was a very unique hotel and the front desk was very friendly and helpful! Easy walking distance to many places!

Everything seemed pretty worn out in the room. I wouldn't describe a record player and some local artwork as "boutique". The resort fees are a ridiculous tack on...
