Ubicación excelente. Frente a la playa, cerca de la zona de más movimiento de south beach, cerca de la Española way, cerca de las líneas de Troley, etc, etc.
Las camas muy cómodas.
Incluye un desayuno americano abundante pero es siempre el mismo. Sería deseable poder alternar entre tres o cuatro opciones o que fuese buffet

Ein kleines Hotel mit sehr viel Charme in bester Lage. Alles ist bestens organisiert und die Mitarbeiter sehr hilfsbereit.
Wir kommen wieder.

The location of the hotel is phenomenal. It’s right on the beach and near attractions and restaurants. It’s a beautiful area at night too. However, the road that the hotel is on is closed to vehicles. We had to be dropped off at their other property and walk with our luggage. The hotel is very vintage and we enjoyed the decor. That being said, we could hear everything going on outside while trying to sleep. I would also caution anyone who is in a wheelchair or uses mobility devices that there are stairs leading into the hotel lobby. The elevator is also very small. The price, location, and customer service outweighs those issues and we would definitely stay here again. It was clean and the young man working the check in desk was very friendly and professional.

Our stay included a free breakfast each morning at the restaurant beside the Penguin Hotel. The service was horrible. waiting 20 minutes before someone greeted us. Waited another 20 minutes for menus. Waited another 20 minutes before taking our order. waited another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Spoke to the manager he told us hes new here and was hired to clean this mess up. Tired the restaurant again the following morning. after 45 minutes of waiting at the table we left. Worst restaurant I have ever been to. Even the paying customers were complaining about the service

The hotel promises a daily breakfast at the next door restaurant, but fails to make it clear that the breakfast is horrible. It was clearly cooked well in advance and served cold. The bacon was floppy. The eggs were both runny and cold. The fruit salad was flavorless. Worst of all, the service was terrible, being a combination of both rude and slow.

Staff was very helpful and polite. During booking it said buffet breakfast , but was not true. You have to go to restaurant next door with coupon and had preset breakfast. I got cold eggs all 3 days. First day fruit bowl was fresh but next 2 days fruits were not fresh. Had to ask butter and all with toast. First day no juice was available and we don’t drink coffee or tea. Also why would you not clean the room every day? Price was too high for the type and size of the room. Pics on website looks different than the room

Stay was overall uneventful, our AC did not work but they fixed it fast. Great location if you plan on exploring Miami Beach, breakfast was included but okay. Enjoyed the welcome drink however it wasn't available until hours after check in which doesn't make a whole lot of sense. With the price of the hotel I think the resort fee is excessive.

Location - Right on Ocean Drive
Cons -
1. Very Very Small room. Do not consider this hotel if you are travelling with Kids.
2. They do not offer cleaning everyday unless you request them in the morning. I feel cleaning is something that should be done by default.
3. If you choose a room with breakfast, they will offer you beakfast at a restaurant just adjacent to the hotel. They just have one menu item i.e. Scrambled egg, tea/coffee/juice. The menu is constant and they dont even change on request.
4. They charge you 33 USD as resort fee per night and the only thing they offer which you probably would use is beach towel. Pool is in other property named President Hotel.

Amazing location especially for the price. Valet and the rooftop pool is shared at the president hotel and the breakfast in not the buffet seen in photos but instead you get a voucher to eggs, bacon, and toast at the restaurant "the front porch" next door so that's a little misleading and hope this review helps someone :)

Hotel is ok. Be aware that swimming pool is in hotel in neighborhood. Totally crowded when we were there. Breakfast served at restaurant next door. Only low quality American breakfast as option. Great location by the beach. Towels at hotel. Room was large. A bit noisy. Aircon was good, but extremely noisy.

Run down property needs some TLC some kind of motor outside the window so I could not sleep maybe air con? I turned mine off but the noise continued feel very misled as pictures don’t match the stay they were obviously taken after decoration many years ago and the bar was empty as not in use we had to go next door for drinks and food the breakfast included was not edible their were piles of wasted so called breakfast after guests realise how gross it was cold grey tasteless potatoes rubber cold scrambled eggs and 2 of the smallest pies I’ve ever seen in my life that were like lumps of iron! Toilets in the restaurant were vile and I was gagging when I left flooded floors and you know what everywhere ! Even the water served smelt like toilet water in a plastic cup! Why don’t they just do a buffet or a breakfast sandwich have some kind of respect for the voucher holding customers ? walk ins from off the street customers got attractive food and served straight away as the rest of us are like dogs still waiting over 30 minutes I’m still waiting for my cream for my watery coffee it never came overall I’d definitely stay at a more expensive place just to be treated like a human I went to my room to grab my things to check out I was 4 minutes late but they had already locked my card and i needed to use the toilet I asked a cleaner to open my room but got told to go to the front desk not happy at all! Shame the place has big potential but for now I won’t be returning won’t post pics
