Plenty of room in the king room with the bed and sofa bed and a chase type lounger. Super close to the Pier and the promenade. Couldn’t ask for anything else!!!!!!

Great location. Very clean.

Checking in service was poor and unwelcoming. Limited information about the hotel facilities compared to other customers checking in. 18% added for valet tip onto of $65 parking cost, unknown and cash tip also required. Late room servicing Lots of fees for the hotel.

Excellent location right near the Pier. Plenty of restaurants, shops and walking opportunities nearby. Wouldn’t recommend staying out after dark but that is no fault of the hotel. Rooms were lovely and clean and staff were helpful.

Be aware that the photos of the rooms make them look much larger than they really are. Our room was sufficient, but hardly as spacious as it was shown on Hotels.com. Very soft beds—comfy at first, but too mushy to provide spinal support. Linens seemed clean and fresh. The coffee situation left much to be desired. A keurig-type machine tucked into a cabinet that had to be removed to set up. Scant beverage supplies and it produced very weak coffee. Not drinkable for even a low-level coffee snob like me. Filtered water and ice is supposed to be available from a machine on every floor, but the one our floor was broken. Maybe other floors too, because bottled water was available at the front desk. Parking for $65 a night? Nope. I parked across the street for $20. We got a 20% discount card for a single use at the hotel restaurant. Even with 20% off, it was be more expensive than many local options. Overall, our stay was serviceable. No major complaints. Staff was congenial. But it really felt overpriced for what it was. I guess you’re paying for the location—right across from Santa Monica pier. NO reflection on the hotel: Santa Monica may not be the safest place to stroll around after hours. Somebody shot and killed a homeless person just a block away at 1:30 this morning.

staff very helpful and kind and acomodating

We escaped to the hotel after being evacuated from the fire. The hotel was one of the very few NOT to jack up their rates to take advantage of people leaving. Our check in was incredibly compassionate. They waived the pet fees and resort fees. They even had a small gift for our dog. I was blown away by the kindness of the staff while we were escaping the fire. I am so grateful to this wonderful hotel and everyone in it for being a safe place to us to go and showing us such wonderful and attentive service.

Hotel was in a great location close to the pier and shops short walk to both. Surcharges and resort fees were unexpected extras and we felt for the price overall wasn’t the best value.

Lock did not work, needed to move to another room and prepare the 3d bed by ourself,,,,staff was not there,....we have been charged for amenity fee of 40 USD for per day and never been informed about this fee upon arrival.... reception never informed us what this was for....this is inappropriate ...

The staff encountered was very pleasant and made our staff stress free and enjoyable.

Great hotel. We had a wonderful time, the staff were great and accommodating. Love it here and happy we stayed. Coming back again!

Overall we had a good time. The staff was very friendly and the hotel restaurant was pretty decent. The meh parts were parking (across the street was fine but inconvenient) and the very bizarre updates. This is an older facility with popcorn ceilings. The update they did seemed a little chaotic, as the faucet barely reaches the bowl of the sink and the toilet paper was mounted behind the commode. Did anyone try to use a bathroom with these fixtures?

Close to the Santa Monica Pier and dining. Would stay again!

Loved the location.

The room was small. Was ok, clean, but nothing special. Front desk staff was pleasant and did refund my 65 dollar parking fee when I mentioned that it seemed excessive along with the 40 dollar resort fee. This was appreciated.

Kjempebra beliggenhet i Santa Monica. Kort avstand til stranden og pieren. Synd de ikke tilbyr hotellgjester parkering. Vi ble rådet til å parkere i parkeringshus på andre siden av veien, som var veldig dyrt.

Great, friendly, helpful staff. Very comfortable, clean room. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.
