only real issue we had is that sometimes food would be left in the kitchen for hours on end or even overnight which was kind of gross--other than that the house was really cute and quaint, plenty of space for 3 of us in our suite, area was safe and walkable, quiet at night but still plenty of things to do, bookstores, bars, etc

The only thing I had a problem with is I requested an early check in @ 1:00pm and did not get my add on approved before my arrival. I know this is my fault but I bumped my head going under the porch to get to my room.

Our stay was amazing. Centrally located on the Boystown district. We checked in late at night. We woke up and were freezing. We were a little concerned that we’d be cold the whole stay. We then found a space heater on our room which kept the room extremely room. Staff is very nice and knowledgeable of things to do and aee

The photos on the listing show a much prettier place than what we found. The room was a little dingy. The white trim and white doors were either dirty or maybe just stained but either way they need attention. The entry corridor smelled faintly of sewage but fortunately this didn’t filter through to our room. The bathroom was updated but the water pressure in the shower was an issue especially for washing hair. It was a contactless check in and check out so zero interaction with staff. If a breakfast was available there was no indication of one. The bed was comfy and the location was good so there were a couple of positives. I visit Chicago often and wouldn’t stay here again especially for longer than one night.

When I booked I was deceived about parking in the property. Off the street parking does not mean 3 blocks away. The instructions unclear. The sign for the place so small you can't even read it while you are walking in the walk away. I did not even stay one night there. I left at 1am because of the parking and how uncomfortable about it. They are better to say no parking. I cancelled my second stay there even I lost the money. I will not recommend it

Complimentary breakfast was far beyond "continental", it was handmade from scratch and incredible! That's what really stood out. Otherwise my stay was also great, everything the listing claimed to be.

Is a clean beatiful antique victorian house, but it was difficult to understand the check in and check out process, the app is not very clear, and is a process in itself I just wished I didn't had to go through I wish it was easier, and I wouldn't have had to wait in the cold outside for a while trying to figure out how to open the doors or how to find my room

We will be staying there again and again. The neighborhood is amazing with bars across from the villa and next to the villa! The red line is a block away! We found a parking spot with ease, and the Villa can provide you with a parking pass if desired. We did and it was waiting for us in the room. Our room was so cozy, and clean! The bathroom had clean towels, shampoo and body wash of good brands! There was a TV in our room and a mini fridge. The pillows….i wish I knew what brand they are, I need those at my house! The best for us was the breakfast: fluffy eggs with mushrooms, mini ham and cheese croissants with a mustard bechamel sauce, blueberry cake and freshly made biscuits, fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola, fresh coffee and juice! It was the most amazing start to our day. Shout out to our host, making the breakfast from scratch for everyone! Five stars. A hidden gem!

This was my first visit to Chicago, and my first visit to a bed and breakfast. What a great experience! The house/home [not to mention the garden] was uniqeu and very comfortable. It was a journey back to a real Chicago home. In trading offf the antiseptic "hotel" feel or the typical air B&B experience I had a very comfortable and beautiful place to stay. The host, Brandon, was gracious and made a delicious breakfast for guests. I felt comfortable, safe, and I slept well - and was surrounded by antique beauty. It was totally worth the trade off. The other guests were from all over the world and it was interesting to observe their first visit to the Windy City. The shared bathroom was easy to adapt to - and all the technology, wi-fi and modern conveniences were available to assist my comfort and safety. Highly recommend this if you are interested in an authentic taste of Chicago. Thank you!
