I recently stayed at the Windsor Suites in Philadelphia. The room itself was nice — I especially enjoyed the view and the balcony. However, there were a few major issues that impacted my stay. Housekeeping didn’t come by until after 6 PM, despite multiple calls to the front desk where I was told they would arrive by 5:30 at the latest. I had an important Zoom meeting and had to take it while housekeeping was cleaning in the background, which was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. When I went to the front desk in person, staff simply brushed me off and told me to wait until 5:30 without offering any real help or solutions. Additionally, valet service was very slow. It took up to 25 minutes to retrieve my car each time, and the valet staff seemed irritated whenever I needed my vehicle, even though I paid $55 per night for in-and-out privileges. I understand staffing issues can happen, but the way these problems were handled left a bad impression. I believe the hotel has a lot of potential, and I would be open to giving it another chance if some of these concerns are addressed.

First , the plus: The front desk manager Benjamin Jones was very helpful. Now: the minuses, I had reserved a room with a walk in shower, but upon arrival was given a room with the shower over the bathtub, with no safety features. The bathtub was rusty! I called the front desk from the room and at first there was NO answer. Later, someone picked up; I stated my concerns and was told that the type of room I had requested was not available. I had made the reservation at least a month before arrival; it was not a last minute reservation. Since I could not stay there safely, I had to find another hotel on the spot. The room I was allocated should not be utilized until the bath is renovated; the front desk should be staffed at all times. This was not a midnight arrival; it was at 4:00 p.m.

Very clean and location is convenient and walking distance to everything.The only thing I don’t like is the $55 charge for parking.This was not told upon arrival.I was told my ticket would be validated by the front desk which made it seem like there’s no charge if you were a guest at the hotel. I think this info should be made clear upon check-in.

When we checked in we were greeted by Benjamin and Catherine, they both were so friendly and extremely helpful!! They were explaining why everything was closed so early (because it was Sunday) but they recommended the Pub at the hotel and we were able to have a few drinks!! Excellent customer service!!! Loved our room and the special lounge we had access to!

The daytime staff were excellent, a friendly welcome and early check in much appreciated. Room was comfortable. Irish pub staff - LOVELY! But the laundry situation - I couldn’t find any information about it so I went to ask. I was told there were facilities on every floor - not true but I found some on the 12th floor. I spent ages trying to download the app to make payment only for it not to work. After trying many times, I went to the phone by the elevator and rang for guest services - no one answered, I was waiting for several minutes, so I gave up and went back down to reception. A member of staff then told me that the app doesn’t work with non-US phones and that I needed to buy a special card to load money onto. She said this required my physical bank card rather than my phone (not true - I discovered) but I went back to my room to get it… eventually I found this machine (it was in the mailroom and not signposted!) And I paid $5 for the card. So I tried to use it with the washing machine - oh no, the actual card is $5, I was supposed to add money to it. So I went back. A $10 minimum! (I made sure I did two washes before I checked out!) All very frustrating. Some suggestions: 1) change to a different payment system that doesn’t punish international travellers with a $15 minimum spend on laundry 2) make sure the evening staff are trained to explain the laundry situation accurately 3) answer the phones 4) give info about the laundry through the qr code in the room

Free coffee at the lobby. Incidentals fee $250 refund in five business day. The a/c make noises. No free bottle water. Great location.

It was perfect, the staff, the room, the location, the amenities. We really enjoyed our stay. Totally worth it.

This was the third time I have stayed at The Windsor, and I am quickly becoming a loyal guest. The staff is so incredibly warm and friendly and willing to help you; I cannot stress that enough. It’s located in a beautiful area and easily within walking distance of many attractions. And the Irish pub-Con Murphy’s-attached to the hotel-fun, easygoing atmosphere and the burger was delicious!! I don’t have anything negative to say and would highly recommend it!

The staff was very friendly. The location is amazing. I was unable to get a good rest as the bed was super firm and the pillows were simply a sack of cotton balls is what it felt like. I checked out early due to not being able to get decent rest. Some of the towels in the bathroom were stained upon my arrival.

Our room got upgraded to suite.

My husband, 4 year old son and 1 year twins and I shared a suit. We were supposed to have w queen beds and had 2 full instead. First, we were bombarded by the mandatory valet service. We were rushed to hand over our keys and exit our vehicles. So anytime we needed something from our car, we would have to wait forever. Front desks service was wonderful, the only positive thing about this place. From the way the lobby operated, ie security, bell service and elevator escorts...i thought for sure our rooms were going to be nice. I was very wrong. The suite looked nothing like the pictures advertised. The kitchen was awful, cabinet doors were broken, drawers wouldnt close, the fridge couldnt be shut properly bc it was jammed in with the countertop. The fridge was rusted on the sides and on top, the coffee area had coffee grounds and sugar everywhere from the previous patrons. All the light fixtures were covered in a layer of dust, the floors and baseboards were disgusting! My babies kept finding things on the floor, it was obvious it wasnt vacummed or mopped. All my children are sick now and im certain its from crawling around on those dirty floors. The bathroom was outdated and small, the bathtub was all damaged and worn out on the bottom. I wouldnt dare put my children in it. There were 3 closets that are completely unnecessary. The hotel could add that space to their tiny bathrooms. The suite smelled like old moth balls and the remote to the common area didnt work half the time

The price of the incidental fee is definitely a drawback.
