체크인 빠르고 직원도 친절합니다. 캐년 view 및 사우스림 트레일과 가까워 일출/일몰 보기에도 좋습니다. 2박하였는데 다른 지역 호텔과 다르게 타올과 간단한 trash등은 정리해 주어 좋았습니다.

코로나때문에 많은 시설에 제약이 있었지만 숙소자체는 너무나 좋았습니다. 그랜드캐년 국립공원 내에 있다는 것은 충분히 행복한 시간을 보장하는 것이고 일출과 일몰을 볼수 있으며 백년된 레스토랑을 이용할 수 있다는 것!

Very good, but a bit dated building right on the canyon rim. Parking is a luck of the draw, lots of stairs in the building, so arrival and departure is a bit difficult as we had to carry our luggages a few flight of stairs to where we parked.

체크인은 옆 건물인 브라이트엔젤 로지에서 할 수 있습니다. 저녁도 브라이트엔젤에서 먹었는데, 직원들도 훌륭하고, 저녁도 맛있었습니다. 방은 넓고, 뷰도 좋고, 따뜻하고 편안한 방이었습니다. 다만 호텔 와이파이는 거의 안됩니다.

그랜드 캐년 바로 앞이라 위치가 매우 좋습니다. 시설이나 청결도도 괜찮은 편입니다. 다만 와이파이가 잘 안되고 체크인 카운터를 찾기가 매우 어려운 점이 아쉬웠습니다

There was no attention to detail, the plate in the shower was screwed in upside down, single ply toilet paper, brown stains on the bath towels, and the mattresses cost a similar amount to the nights stay (I sold mattresses for a long time, I am sure). The towels were kept outside overnight, that may be where the stain came from. I wasnt expecting much, but it wasn't as nice as a Loves truck stop bathroom. The skillet for breakfast didn't come with eggs. Bruh. It was good once I ordered eggs. Attention to detail

Très bel emplacement pour un accès direct au grand canyon! En revanche la vue partielle et très partielle … Il faut comprendre que toute la logistique de l’hôtel (clé, restaurant, petit dej…) se fait dans le bâtiment d’à côté. Pas de possibilité de réserver une table au restau donc longue liste d’attente. Petit dej en sup. Bar sympa.

Superbe endroit à découvrir. Les hébergements sont très bien situés, longeant la falaise du Grand Canyon.Vue époustoufflante sur ce joyau naturel. L' Observation d'animaux sauvages le long des sentiers et d'un ciel remplie d'une multitude d'étoiles nous a éblouie lors de tombée de la nuit. Prévoir 3 jours minimum pour explorer les 2 Rim ainsi que les sentiers en escaliers. Nous avons manqué de temps en 2jours.

Check-in is at a different location. Right next to the rim trail and when you get out of the hotel, you are greeted with the canyon views. Some rooms might have windows looking at the canyon. If you are on the edge about staying longer than one day, I would recommend doing so.

Thunderbird Lodge is well situated on Grand Canyon South Rim. But I had a hard time to find its place to check in. Because it doesn’t have any lobby for check in. Instead the check in is at Bright Angel Lodge. I was told there was a sign. Unfortunately I didn’t see any notice on the building entrances in the dark night until I was informed by a passerby.

Location is Incredible. The lodge is a minute walk from the edge of the canyon. Check-in is the lodge next door. I don't think they have an elevator. We were on the first floor. I don't know if the TV worked as we spent our time hiking. There is a free shuttle system that is a 2 minute walk from the door. The parking situation is first come, first serve and you might have a bit of a hike as parking is free and not registered. There is a small fridge in the room. The shower head is shorter than I'm accustomed to and the furnishings are sufficient, but definitely on the basic side.
