Upon arrival to check in, desk clerk let me know that the hotel was overbooked and the only room left was one that did not have any electricity, but not to worry because “he wouldn’t charge me full price.” I was in absolute shock, not to mention that the temps were below freezing and I was being offered a room without electricity. I told him absolutely not and left immediately. I had the room booked days in advance and am not sure what happened that they would have left me without a viable room.

For an older motel, this place is perfect for overnight or a few days in Bishop. Clean, simple, quiet. The breakfast isn’t much but will get you down the road. There’s a Denny’s Next door and a discount from the motel

The Vagabond Inn was very convenient, located alongside 395. Rooms are behind the entrance, so it was surprisingly quiet. The rooms are basic, but very clean. The bed was too firm for my husband, but fine for me. Multiple dning options are an easy walk.

Hotel sencillo, 3 estrellas, Muy bueno para parar y descansar y continuar el viaje. Nosotros paramos una noche antes de llegar a Mammoth, lo que dicen que ofrecen es lo que dan...y el recepcionista muy amable.

During my stay, unfortunately there was no hot water and the power went out. The power was able to be turned on, but no hot water to shower in winter was very disappointing for the price I paid for my stay and I did not receive any compensation for the inconvenience.

We had 2 rooms. In both the rooms, the shower tap and microwave were not working. After request, the microwave was restored, but the shower tap problem continued. The reception people cited shortage of staff and said will offer discounts, which eventually was not given.
