No air conditioning the room smelled like a sewage pipe burst when you shower and the room smelled like constant cat piss

Safe and quiet

Vagabond Inn is one of my favorite places to stay when I am away from home.

The hair dryer was inoperable, the coffeemaker didn't work, the TV didn't even work. The only redeeming amenity was the hot tub. The room was dirty and had roaches, the fridge was even leaking. I did only pay $370 for 4 nights tho, so I guess I should have known for how cheap it was. My RV had a dead battery when we checked out, so I left it overnight until I could put a new battery in the next day. Right after work I headed there to handle it, and manager came banging on my rv door while I was in the bathroom, thank god I had it locked with a chain lock as well because he tried to pull open my door with my dog in here, even though there was a sign that says beware of dog. When I came out the manager started screaming at me in front of everyone there. I was literally just putting in a new battery to get my RV gone, but he didn't care he continued to scream at me, KNOWING, I just dropped a bunch of money to stay here. If you want a comfortable and safe staycation or even just vacation, I wouldn't reccomend this place to anyone.

Old, squeaky bed, sink was very smelly, heater only on and off switch, bed cover very thin and old .. tv blurry . I WILL NOT EVER STAY at VAGABOND INN again!

It wasn't a great stay. When my wife and I first got into our room, we noticed our sheets, towels, and pillow cases were dirty. There was black mold in the tub and you could tell no one had swept the bathroom floor. The hotel also had multiple cockroachs. The front desk was nice at first when we checked in but after they were kinda rube and took their time. multiple people were at the front window but they just stood around and talked while there were people waiting to be seen. We also had an incident with the soda machine. We asked if they had any other drinks or if possible we could get our money back since we had spent 3 dollars. It took a day to get our money back after front desk agreeing to give us our money back. Reason for not getting the money back was due to the two people at the front desk talking. We stood in the lobby for a while but and told them we would have to come back because we had to be somewhere and needed to get back to our room before leaving to our event. Wow! what a way to spend our 11th an anniversary huh? Never going back again.

Grounds were kept up well maintenance was good housekeeping came in and freshened up the room on a daily basis. Only drawback is one of two ice machines was operable.

It everything you’d think it would be for what your paying.

The floor was super dirty turning my white sock black at the bottom. The heater wasn't working so it was a cold night. The toilet tank literally took 30 minutes to completely fill up and the shower head was spraying outside so you had a puddle on the floor.

Too old. Restroom door could not lock.

Hot water not coming. Heater don’t work. Bugs everywhere

My room was very clean and I slept exceptionally well. Lots of hot water. This place has great potential but is not being maintained with much love. Example, ceiling had a big patch of paint, instead of just painting one more roller width around. Grounds have trash and butts littering the property. Hot tun spills water everywhere.

Bedding was in poor condition otherwise room was okay... Microwave was Rusty and ceiling tiles in the bathroom had stains

Important to know: the hotel is next door to an In-n-Out Burger, which makes it a bit busy to get in. Moreover, if this will bother you, it’s across the street from a cemetery, but that makes it quiet on one side, at least. We just wanted an inexpensive, decent place to shower and sleep and this did fit the bill. The pool and spa looked very inviting, but we were exhausted. Our shower/tub faucet would not shut off (we told the front desk upon checkout) and there was a huge, dead palmetto bug inside the bathroom light/blower (forget to tell the front desk that), but those were my only complaints. Yes, the property is old with some cosmetic blemishes; however, it was decent.

Excellent location and hospitality

Horrible, worst possible stay. Humidty smell, leaking tub, and more. Rather sleep in my car.

Very convenient to fine restaurants,very close to amazing mall and very close to freeway!!
