Our family of 6 (our Adult children and a grandchild) had a wonderful time at this resort. The pool area, dining, and boat trips (one to a private beach that is complimentary) were the highlights. And the service is top notch, very attentive. Also paid for a boat tour to see the seals and lighthouse which was excellent with Captain John. The rooms could use some upgrades and some painting/cleaning around the cottages. For a top notch family resort on Cape Cod, it’s either here or Chatham Inn.

It is NOT a resort! Important to say to future guests. It is a nice hotel, the room is beautiful, the restaurants are good. But, definitely not a resort! The pool and kids facilities are only on July (peak of summer) . It is Not kids friendly! My children didn’t have anything to do all the 3 days here. There isn’t a spa, an indoor pool or sauna (we are in New England, the weather is something we know!). So for that couple of reasons I can tell you IT IS NOT A RESORT, just a nice hotel! The staff was amazing, at least 🙌

The outward appearance is definitely Cape Cod and very quaint and beautiful. We stayed in “Sweat Pea” which was a nice unit but the bathroom was very dated and needs updating.

The overall property (dining, coffee shop, grounds, beach, etc.) was nice. The rooms were very disappointing. Smelled of damp/mildew, furniture was stained and dated, chipped paint everywhere, shower had not been cleaned well and needed new grout, carpet was dirty. I could go on, but the gist of it is that the room conditions were not at all what you would expect for a property in this price range. You are paying for the facilities, location on the water, and dining options but if you’re looking to enjoy a nice, upscale room you will not find it here. The view was really lovely though and staff was great but something needs to be done to align room expectations with reality. Might make more sense to stay in the area and experience this location separately for dinner or drinks.

For a 5-star award winning hotel, the service-level fell short of of my overall expectations as a first time guest celebrating our anniversary.Guest services forgot to delivery cupcakes, I agreed to pay extra for as a surprise for my husband and daughter. We ran back to room 3x from pool with much anticipation and only offered a simple apology with extended check out? We already had setup noon checkout and guided at 11:30am we could not longer stay. I would have expected some kind of gesture, offering or act of anything to rectify scenario into a positive experience but I feel no effort or attempt was made. Considering the cost of room and access to a cute coffee shop- a simple gesture could have went a long way…..

Great resort, beautiful grounds and attentive staff. Great for families but ensure you book kids club ahead of your stay. Rooms could use some updating but are clean.

Always a wonderful experience when I stay.

The staff is superior and very helpful and accommodating. The “Cookie Monster” Furukh (may have misspelled ) is a huge hit with my kids and family. He’s the kind of employee that will have us coming back again! The grounds are stunning and looks like an English garden!

Nice place but not a 5 star. The people and service 5 star, the resort needs a spa and some more amenities. Feels like an apartment complex a bit which I do not care for. That said food was food, people fantastic , I think they need some renovations updating and a spa.

I liked that it’s on the water and the amenities- pool, beach,and restaurants with fresh seafood were great. Staff and service was wonderful making the resort an enjoyable experience during our stay.

The resort is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is so friendly and helpful and everything was beyond expectations.

Setting and views are stunning. Facilities are generally very nice. Rooms are mediocre.

Slightly old buildings otherwise great location, great service and amazing staff.
