We stayed at the Wingate by Wyndham in Bellingham on August 30th, 2025 and the room was filthy. The shower had hair and a yellow shumpston's near the drain , floors were dirty, furniture was scratched and worn. Bathroom tiles were cracked with missing grouch, wallpaper was peeling, the bed was old squeaky, and appeared used by previous guests. When we asked to speak with a manager, hoping for a clean room or a reimbursement, she completely seemed indifferent, claimed the hotel was fully booked, abruptly apologize and hung up as if dealing with unhappy customers was a daily Norm. Completely unacceptable .

No elevator...lots od steps. If you are handicapped, pick another place. Otherwise it was fine.

This hotel looks like a large complex with a pool and hot tub available.

We were impressed with the quality and cleanliness and a very good value.

Clean and tidy room, pleasant staff. The check in experience was great and the breakfast attendant was very friendly. Freeway noise was evident but not terrible.

The gym was surprisingly nice as was the front desk person, Artie. Besides that, this place is a last resort. Our room was in basement next to the laundry (no elevator). The pipes knocked loudly every time someone flushed. The breakfast looked disgusting. The housekeepers kept their radios on full blast and their conversation was so loud in the hallway. If you have to stay here because everything else is full, it's fine, but if there's a choice, choose somewhere else.

The mattress and pillow in our room were extremely soft. So soft that I have been 2 days with extreme pain on my neck.

This hotel is very clean, the rooms are very nice. The beds are soft. Breakfast was nice. We will be back

unfortunately the toilet tank was running water nonstop all night long when we arrived it was a little loud through the night :(

It was a weird layout. Breakfast was across the street.

Decent stay and value for budget, dining area and other amenities like the gym and reception is located in a different complex which can be tricky navigating on the property. The EV charger does not work, management has no plans to fix it.

In Bellingham for a medical procedure. The front desk made the best choice for our room closest to the entry. Everyone was courteous and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty standard, bagels, toast, waffles, eggs and sausage. Most notably the hotel is older but everything throughout is clean and easy to figure out. No issues at all, pleasant stay.

So close to the freeway and shopping. We were surprised to be in a building that did not have an elevator and we were on floor 3. We didn’t recall reading that in the building description.

I loved that it was within walking distance of stores and restaurants. They did have breakfast daily but need to offer a variety of foods.

Clean and comfortable. The Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Very happy with our stay
