The room was cleaned everyday and spotless, all the staff were amazing always going out of there way for you. The amenities are excellent and there is always something to do. The food was delicious and they would always try to cook to your needs. Definitely worth going too and we are definitely going back.

Overall, Eratap was an incredible resort and I would definitely return. The pool and facilities in the resort were great. The resort was super spacious and we never felt crowded - we had the pool to ourselves most of the day. Bocce and tennis were great too. Food options were very limited if you were vegetarian (except at breakfast) and the daily specials were rarely vegetarian. The resort around half an hour from Port Villa, we didn’t go eat anywhere else. Breakfasts in particular were fantastic. There was lots of choice for wine and cocktails. We loved the Tuesday night fire show with dinner - one of the highlights of the trip. The staff were awesome - in particular Melanie who always went out of her way to help us. The beaches were lovely - with the area being surrounded by reefs you could go snorkelling straight out from the main beach. They had a fantastic private island, which we got the boat to (it would be ready within a few mins) and you would have the entire island to yourself. The water was crystal clear with amazing snorkelling. Parts of the resort were showing their age and could do with updating (e.g. restaining of decks and door frames, bathrooms). The shower in one of the bathrooms didn’t work for the entire duration of the trip even after we had someone out to look at it, the shower head kept falling off. There was bug eggs on two of the beds when we arrived and they kept falling from the ceiling, and often into our suitcases that were on the bench.

Great quiet resort with amazing water views. Comfortable with great food options so you don’t need to leave the resort. The standout though was the staff. Everyone was wonderful and never short of a smile. We felt welcomed by everyone.

Beautiful property located on

It was paradise. I relaxed in an instant. The accommodation was perfectly designed so that you had your own slice of the beach and views with no one else in sight. They were equipped with air con and fans, fly screens. As a coconut fell from the tree, staff would open it for you. Could not recommend this place enough. A perfect balance of solitude - you could socialise at the restaurant if you wanted to, superb snorkelling off the beach or a boat trip to one of the local islands whenever you wanted. The food was also 5 star!

There is absolutely nothing to fault with the ehole experience. An ideal place for relaxing

Exceptional

Although the weather was not perfect, we had a delightful holiday here. Tony, the hotel owner, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. He provided us with a detailed introduction to the hotel's facilities and activities. However, the hotel staff would need additional professional training. During our first hour at the hotel, I sustained an injury while attempting to borrow a surfboard. The staff appeared unfamiliar with how to unhook the surfboard, resulting in an accident that caused significant injury. While they did offer verbal apologies and basic first aid assistance, we felt somewhat neglected in terms of follow-up. The hotel offers complimentary speedboat transportation to two nearby islands renowned for their beautiful coral reefs and perfect for snorkelling. Our captain consistently provided pick-ups and drop-offs on time. The on-site restaurant serves high-quality cuisine that exceeded our expectations in terms of portion size and flavour. We particularly enjoyed the fruit platter and Thai omelette for breakfast. Overall, the location is great and the surroundings are beautiful, with stunning coral reefs and delicious restaurants. The driver of the hotel was very good, the day we left the hotel and went to the airport, our driver Robert said it was his 50th birthday. He liked a cake very much but thought it was too expensive to buy it. I hope he had a good birthday and if we have a chance to visit Vanuatu in the future I think we will get him a gift.

Amazing stay. The Vila was spacious with an amazing view of the ocean. It has multiple lounges, hut with daybed and a plunge pool. The beach is right outside the backdoor. Staff were very welcoming and kept our room clean and tidy everyday. Highly recommend for any honeymoon goers.

WOW what a holiday!! Amazing resort. From the moment we arrived at the airport - the staff were fabulous. The facility's were wonderful. From the gym, to the pool, to the snorkeling - beautiful reef to explore. Evening entertainment was enjoyable - Fire Show and local band. Hope to visit again.

Eratap beach resort was absolutely perfect. From the views to the staff and everything in between was amazing. The pool villa was spacious with a great view of the ocean and islands. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. The food was amazing! Fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection. The resort was about 25mins out of town but supplied everything that was needed. There were daily activities and entertainment such as snorkelling, kayaking, bike rides, island trips, fire show, village tour, trips to town, guitarist and many more provided! I cannot fault Eratap beach resort and will definitely be back in the future.

Stunning location, beautiful facilities, quite and private villas, great restaurant, but best of all the staff were amazing. Looking forward to our next visit.

We stayed over Christmas break, and even got engaged at the resort. The staff were accommodating to my requests for a birthday surprise for my partner, and always went above and beyond to make our time away memorable. The food at the resort was also incredible, each meal was delicious and fresh with local produce. Now to the downsides: the resort is 30 minutes away from the main town. Although the food was amazing, it was also expensive. If you book restaurants outside of the resort, add an additional $60 for the transport to the cost of your meal. Despite advising staff that the robes were not replaced in our villa, it took 3 days and numerous follow ups to actually get some new clean ones. The 'shop' is ridiculously expensive, but unless you can get into town or want to add $60 for a shuttle to buy stuff cheaper, you have no option but to buy from there if you run out. They request that the air conditioner is only run when you are in the villa. Although i understand that the property runs on generators, it was exceptionally hot when we stayed there and the air conditioner is only in the bedroom. We also had a storm when we stayed there, where our roof leaked into the villa. Be prepared for lizards/gechos to come into the villa aswell, every single night. Although overall we had a memorable trip, and an experience we will never forget. You can tell the staff are paid poorly (they did tell us this) and walked in on one of the female managers (Leila) yelling at a staff member

We stayed at eratap beach resort for 6 nights for our honeymoon- we stayed in villa 11 (honeymoon villa). Robert picked us up from the airport with cold bottles of water, was super friendly and chatted with us about Vanuatu on the way to the resort (30mins from airport). On arrival Pascal greeted us and checked us in, she spent 10mins chatting to us about the resort, activities and answered our questions, we received a welcome drink on arrival (delicious). Robert kindly took our bags to our room for us. Our honeymoon villa was amazing! The bed was very comfortable, large shower & bathroom, air-conditioning worked perfectly. The living area was large and comfortable sofas. The restaurant has amazing food, all staff were so kind & welcoming- Mel was especially great! We used the spa, Anna & Elody were so friendly and providing a relaxing experience. The resort offers many different activities with no charge, we went on the village tour, daily trips to Port Vila, yoga session & experienced the fire dancing night (AMAZING). We also used the resort activities such as doing a drift snorkel around the big island- INCREDIBLE snorkelling & we swam with 2 dugongs! Pascal is an incredible staff member, she organised all of our external activities (blue lagoon, waterfalls, fishing charter) and was so kind & accomodating. I couldn't recommend this resort enough, a fantastic place & wonderful honeymoon experience.

I knew it would be nice but I was stunned by our private villa at Eratap. This is a beautiful property and I highly recommend it.

The snorkeling from the beach was good

We absolutely loved our stay at Eratap. The management and staff were absolutely beautiful. We loved our private little bungalow and our own little slice of beachfront. The resort was super clean and well maintained. The main pool was warm which was a bonus. Full use of the canoes / SUPs and the motorised boats with driver all included too. We had a couple of restaurant meals that were not so great, but then others were AHHHMAZING!! Try the seafood risotto and pork belly if they're on the menu. The coffee and cocktails were both fabulous and the breakfasts were great. Fresh muffins daily and pick of the hot breakfast menu. Snorkelling straight off the beach out the front was incredible and all the snorkelling gear is there for you to use. Truly a little slice of heaven!

The staff provided a wonderful experience. We were celebrating a birthday, the chef and team really made it a special night with a lovely custom menu and delicious birthday cake. Totally relaxing vacation. Best fish (wahoo) and chips we’ve ever had!

INCREDIBLE! I don’t even have words to say how good my stay here was. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing beach vacation, this is it! The food was incredible, the staff are so friendly and helpful, the resort is beautiful. Cannot say enough good things about it. Absolutely perfect.
