First room had roaches. Moved to a new room next day and it was roach free and more updated. Over all hotel needs updating- the grounds , pool area, rooms in first building we were in.

Property was disappointing. We were texted a message with a timeframe when to check in, as we were late, but no noe was there at that time. We were told housekeeping would come monday, wed, friday to the room. Friday was the only day we saw a housekeeper, and it was after lunch, we were scheduled to leave the next day. They had set a plastic bag with towels with our room number outside our room. Never been to a place that leaves clean towels outside. We could not exchange pool towels, because no one was there to do so. The times were 10a-5pm. We were there one day at 414pm, and no one was there. The temperature in the room could not be adjusted, and the pump ran all night. We put towels and linens over the pump to try to quiet it. We could not sleep as it was too loud. The room was outdated, and overall a disappointment

Construction

On first sight it was picturesque; however as I walked the grounds and the resort area it was in shambles. Big smelly Garbage bins in plain view and the pool bar was all but torn down. If it’s not going to be in use then cover it up and make it aesthetic looking to the eye. This resort needs a full 100% overhaul. I will say the staff was extremely nice and helpful though.

It was close to the beach was a definite plus, only minus was having to leave.

Upon arrival, all staff greater is and was very helpful. Even the gardener stopped what he was doing to ask if we needed help. A+ service from everyone. Nice lively place, loud music at the bar and into the night and can be enjoyed while at the beach. Nearby food at restaurants on site were good. Taxi to town is $17 each person or $8 each to red hook. Not bad if u plan when and were to go.

We didn't know this isn't an actual "resort". We couldn't even get a bottle of water after 2:00PM when the little store closed. Misleading

We overall loved the area, our room was over priced after looking at comps and after talking with other renters who stated when they arrived their room had welcome gifts, fancy shampoos flowers, we wouldn't have know this unless speaking with others, also the bathroom in our room was outdated exhaust fan broken, no smoke detectors missing off of brackets within room, the closet safe was broken and not functioning, the view off balcony was beautiful and the beach was also stunning and that made all the difference, overall 1 out of 10 I give it a 7. But hey Do your due diligence shop around I didn't and might have shorted my self, but overall great experience.

Property is very old, no updates and extremely run down with an old hotel mold smell. Parking lot was so filled with potholes that even the taxi refused to come in one time and made us walk. Reception area is an unused room and the receptionist was not helpful in providing local directions or help. Hours are also very limited.

Loved the property and beautiful beach

I’ve stayed here 2 other times before, we were in Marina side this time our suite was extremely outdated the shower leaked the entire trip despite someone coming to fix it, tv didn’t work in the evening. Appliances were sub par and 3 power outages without any back up generator or lights at all. Overall for the price we paid it was not worth it.

My wife and I stayed beachside at Sapphire beach for a weekend. The suites are nice with amenities for cooking if you want. The beach is A , good for wading, swimming and definitely snorkeling. The onsite amenities include a pizza shop, a cabana bar and an upscale restaurant. I will definitely plan to return, had an awesome time. Side note- the office was difficult to find but just ask any of the employees, they were all very nice and helpful
