What an amazing stay! Immaculate room very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was amazing! The grounds and parking were perfect, a perfect location for walking and the beach. Will defiantly be returning.

We stayed in a beautiful clean room overlooking the garden. Was spotlessly clean throughout. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choices & our hosts Sarah & Cheryl were really friendly & helpful on telling us of places to visit. All in all a very relaxing & enjoyable 5 days break. Easy parking also, most important!!

Such a wonderful stay! The house itself was lovely and unique, the beds were comfortable and the house was super clean, a really nice b&b experience. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and everything was good quality and the finer details were thought about. Would definitely come back to stay again!

For our stay, our bedroom was well appointed, clean and spacious. The owners were very friendly and looked after us well. They used very efficient systems for checking in and checking out with no disruption or hassle whatsoever. Breakfast was generous with choices from a wide ranging menu that catered for all tastes. Car parking was plentiful - adjacent to the main entrance. Bedrooms and dining room are located on the first and second floors of the house but there is no lift (not a problem for us). Overall we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would definitely consider gping again

Just perfect accommodation for exploring West Wales, you're a two minute drive from an amazing beach, less than 15 minutes from both Pembroke and Tenby. The room was great, we had lovely views over the back garden and uninterupted views over the fields and hills, breakfasts set us up for the day, really lovely people runninng it, seriously don't bother looking elsewhere, you'll love this place.

My wife and I stayed at Portclew house for 1 night while visiting the local beaches. We had a lovely stay. Rooms were really clean and the breakfast was great. The owners were lovely to chat to in the morning. The local beaches as always are amazing to visit. We’d definitely stay again when in the area.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. The property is spotless, beautifully presented, and has a really up-market feel without being pretentious. We visited during the Tenby Ironman weekend, and the experience couldn’t have been better. The host was outstanding, warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about both the local area and the Ironman event itself. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, sharing great tips and guidance that really enhanced our visit. Breakfast is included, and while we couldn’t enjoy it in the usual setting due to our 5:30 a.m. start, the host thoughtfully prepared a to-go breakfast bag for us. It was packed with fresh fruit, drinks, and snacks to keep us going throughout the long day, such a kind and practical touch that really made a difference. Overall, the combination of excellent hospitality, immaculate rooms, and thoughtful little extras made our stay truly memorable. Whether you’re in Tenby for an event like Ironman or just for a relaxing break, this hotel is an absolute gem, I couldn’t recommend it more highly!

This guest house is great because the Breakfast & staff are excellent and The bed was very comfortable and all the rooms are very clean. It is also close to freshwater beach and close to the Pembrokeshire costal path.

Comfortable great location big room but all stairs not at all difficult to climb if u get room on hight floor friendly service

Porthclew House was a wonderful surprise. Our room was wonderful so beautiful to the side of it. There was even a communal use balcony which we and had a glass of wine in the evening. Breakfast was great just what you need to set you up for the day. It’s a wonderful property from the grand stain glass entrance to a lovely gardens and location.

Room was pleasant, the bed was very comfortable & with lovely soft pillows. Towels were soft with a very pleasant smell that filled the bathroom. Only small complaints was the lack of Decaffeinated coffee & tea sachets, which you now expect in most establishments. Also the small TV was stuck in the corner of the room, but this only a minor problem. The staff were pleasant & chatty & the breakfast was very nice. This is a very nice guesthouse in a nice area, with several self-catering cottages with one, two or three bedrooms available, but the nearest pub or restaurant is at least a mile away, so transport is essential, with surrounding country lanes having no pavements.
