We enjoyed our stay very much. A lovely hotel and excellent staff. Will definitely stay again when in London.

I had a wonderful experience at The Chesterfield. The staff was friendly and very helpful! The room decor was beautiful! You can’t beat the location in Mayfair as it was walking distance to some of the best restaurants in London!

This was my second stay at The Chesterfield and was once again a great experience. Staff is friendly and there to help with anything you may need. The rooms are good-sized for London and beds are very comfortable, housekeeping service is great and room was very tidy. The area is so convenient, nice quiet street but walkable and close to underground station. Will be back again next time I am in London.

If God came to London for a visit, he'd stay at the Chesterfield. It is as close to perfect as it is physically possible for a hotel to be. Service such as I haven't seen in a decade or more, like it used to be. Your every need not just catered to but anticipated and regally proffered. From the bell captain to the Reception desk to the wait staff in the restaurants to the pianist in the bar. Magnificent describes it. You can't stop smiling.

Only issue was tiny bedroom, no cupboard space.

Amazing from check in to check out, level of service was outstanding, best housekeeping I have experienced in years. Bartenders were friendly and went beyond all week.

Hotel molto tradizionale, personale molto accogliente e disponibile a dare qualsiasi supporto. Qualche formalità di troppo per i nostri gusti personali, ma in linea con la tipologia di hotel. Purtroppo la facciata era in ristrutturazione, ma i disagi durante il soggiorno sono stati molto limitati, solo qualche rumore durante orari diurni. La camera era accogliente e pulita, necessiterebbe di una ristrutturazione perché datata, in particolare il bagno non è sicuramente in linea ad uno standard contemporaneo. Il letto comodo, ma non avevano possibilità di scelta dei cuscini, tutti uguali, troppo soffici e bassi. Nemmeno su richiesta sono stati in grado di fornire qualcosa di diverso. Abbiamo usufruito del servizio colazione che è solo alla carta senza buffet, anche in questo caso poco in linea con gli standard contemporanei.

Staff is so attentive and helpful. Beds and bedding are top notch and so comfortable. Definitely staying here again on my next trip to London.

Great location, welcoming and friendly staff, extremely clean and everything you could wish for - no hesitation in recommending

I did not know until I got there they were doing construction. In addition, the staff misled me about the extent of the work. They told me it only went on from 11-4 every day and there was no work on the weekend, none of which was true. Drilling and hammering started at 8 am every day and finished at 6 pm. There was no sleeping in; no naps. The first room I had I opened the curtains and found two workmen standing there on the scaffolding. The hammering was directly behind the headboard! The desk clerk moved me to a "quieter" room but the drilling and hammering were still very audible. If you are a go-getter who's out of the hotel early every day and home late, or if you are a heavy sleeper, you won't be bothered. But if you are like me and want to enjoy the amenities of a luxury hotel in peace, then this is not the place for you. Also they add an extra 15 pounds a day service charge (optional) to the bill so be on the lookout for that. Otherwise the hotel is beautiful and I am sure I would have thoroughly enjoyed my stay under different circumstances.
