Great hotel to stay at while visiting Vanderbilt

I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Nashville and I've stayed downtown for business on occasion. Once business was over and I wanted to stay a few more days I'd head to this hotel. The location is out of downtown with a user friendly shuttle anytime you'd like. It's within walking distance to the campus of beautiful Vanderbilt University and the Athens of the South Parthenon and the park that surrounds it. The Commodore Grill with the nightly live music of songwriters is really special.

Would definitely stay again. Rate was reasonable and liked that there was a coffee bar and a restaurant/bar on site that had live music every night. The shuttle was super convenient. Rooms are fairly clean but carpet needs to be replaced.

After a frustrating experience at the Comfort Inn - Downtown Music Center, I arrived at Holiday Inn feeling uncertain—only to find out Expedia had canceled my reservation without notifying me. Thankfully, Carsen reassured me right away and smoothly secured a room. His professionalism and calm response instantly put me at ease. Hervie and the other ladies on staff were exceptional throughout our stay. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care ensured we felt truly welcomed and supported. From check-in to check-out, every moment was smooth and enjoyable. The shuttle service was a game-changer—reliable, timely, and the drivers offered great advice for exploring the city. Although I missed one of my tours, I still had a wonderful experience, and I’ll absolutely return to this location in the future.

On a college visit, great hotel location, everything was within walking distance. The hotel was extremely clean and all the staff members were very friendly welcoming, especially Mr. Martin and Cain. Great experience.

I’ve never had to pay for parking at a hotel! Very expensive!

Absolutely loved it here. The staff were great even when the system when down at check-in. Location to downtown is safe and ideal, and the free shuttle is a definite perk for what you are paying. Definitely plan to stay here again.

Staff was very friendly and worked great with us to get into a friend's room early to surprise them for their birthday. The staff even gave birthday drinks!

Everything was great!

Front desk asked if i was celebrating anything. I said my birthday. Not sure why since nothing was done Cleaning: all towels were not picked up. Trash still on floor. Didn't use new sheets. Didn't clean the toilet. When checking out i was charged for breakfast thst i had breakfast tickets for. Unsure how it was even assumed it was our room since i didn't sign anything. It was taken off

Service in desk was poor to said the least, bathroom was terrible!! Smell horrible

It was a hospital stay. So glad to hear that you give discounts to patients. Had i known that i would have booked directly through yall. Next time i know. And also military as well. So thank you so much for both.

Hospitality at its best! We got to the hotel much earlier than the check in time. The staff accommodated that we were able to check in earlier. There is a delicious restaurant in the premises. They were kind and professional and I would recommend this hotel to anyone

Great property very clean,staff very helpful and friendly.

Everything was amazingly. We had a perfect view of the park and Parthenon. Food at the hotel was good, food nearby was great. Easy to access shuttle to a large area around. Definitely recommend and will be back.

The hotel needs to be renovated or shut down. It is awful and old. Mold, dirty, deferred maintenance etc…… Awful
