The drains were clogged in the sink and the bathtub, and the toilet flushed very very slowly. Extremely small rooms that were probably average in the 1970s have not gotten better with time. Serviceable, but not for $150/night.

Filthy; headboard torn and stained; bed was like a catcher’s mitt; forget about ‘breakfast included’, it’s mini boxes of cereal, overripe fruit, and pre-packaged pastry; parking is tight and not nearly enough when at capacity;!TV has HDMI ports punched so you cannot use a Firestick or similar. Overall, just a gross, run down hovel. I have NEVER stayed in such awful accommodations. Avoid this dump at all costs.

The room was clean and bed comfortable. We walked everywhere, which was cool and convenient. We went to the farmers market and the Neon Museum (highly recommended!). Cute town and fun little coffee shops to visit. Overall a pleasant stay and reasonably priced compared to other places. It's an easy jaunt over to Hood River or down to Kee-Ne-Tah. I would stay there again.

You could see daylight around the door, it would shut and lock, but about half of the bottom of the door was out side the jamb.

I do not recommend as long as construction is ongoing.

Close to downtown restaurants. Entry parking lot very uneven.

Easy access to downtown. Once the remodel is done it will be a great boon to the city.

This was a nice stay despite a little initial difficulty finding the office due to construction. The staff was great!

The Rayburn Hotel is being renovated. Check-in for the Dalles Inn is located in the alley behind Rayburn. Staff was friendly and helpful, continental breakfast, even though Staff seemed to be in a storage closet. I loved the beds and just because I did, will make a point to stay at this property when I travel through the area. Thank you. 1 problemis all first level room at the Dalles seem to be single beds. Travelling with my brother we needed two, and I am disrooms on the appeared to be a storage closet.. apyears

I thought i was booking a hotel with a full continental breakfast but upon arrival the hotel portion is under construction. I was roomed in a motel out back. The parking is small and akward. Upon arrival i had to call to see were i was supposed to check in and was directed to a back office area that smelled of mold and half rotten fruit. The room was extremely small, smelled bad, and was about 95° when we arrived. The ac on full blast took 3+ hours to cool the room down to a reasonable sleeping temperature. The walls are so thin that the person on the other side of the wall from our tv was controlling our tv unless we diligently manned the remote to press the exit button to keep it from being turned on to youtube.

Tiffany was amazing, above and beyond.

Motel is under construction. No dining area.

Disappointed. If this is a 3 star hotel then standards are being lowered. There was a LOT of deferred maintenance. The room smelled bad. The curtains were really old and the furniture was subpar, scratched and old. The only good thing was the bed. It was fine and that is what we needed so I didn't hate it but it would be a last resort if I had to stay in The Dalles again.

the hotel is in a remodeling phase and the floor in our room left a black residue on my slippers/ feet, not sure what it was but washed off; the TV programming was new to the staff and we were unable to navigate the program guide, they were of no help, finally figured it out on our own but very confusing

Not much to like, although bedding and towels clean. Hotel being remodelled. Accommodated in adjacent motel type rooms. Exterior of property very poor with areas of cracked concrete and generally very run down. Breakfast was a joke, and described as grab and go. It was served from the office, no seating and poor selection. For what we paid to Expedia, we were very disappointed. Avoid this hotel until the remodelling has been completed. As for our accomodation, the desk told us that it is likely to be demolished......now doesn't that tell a story?

Remodeled superficially. Current remodeling made for the hard to find front desk and the lousy breakfast.

Very clean amenities were available microwave refrigerator cable and Internet I was satisfied with the price and the staff. It’s located directly across the street from Burgerville which was a plus 👍

Clean and easy to find.

The staff was amazing. I didn’t book for Monday because I was working graveyard, but check-in isn’t until the afternoon so last minute they were able to extend my three day stay to four days there is construction going on, but it didn’t disturb my sleep being I sleep during the day. I wake up late morning, but they still had hot coffee down in the lobby for me every night. I was able to park in the free parking on site. I didn’t have to park on the street and that makes a big difference to me.
