Close to airport. I had a beautifully renovated room. Restaurant was fantastic.

Was as expected

The room was comfortable. No housekeeping the second day.

People at the reception are very ignorant, they ignore what the customer are saying. Did not like the attitude of the reception. Will not stay there again and will not recommend.

Very nice property. Was planning on staying 1 night. Ended up staying 2 nights.

I didnt like that the floor in the room was dirty. Even under the couch is dirty. Looks like it hasnt been swept or washed. Even pets need a clean place to stay. And paying 335.00 a night wasnt worth staying in a dirty room.

The heating system was noisy and too close to the bed. The pillows left to be desired.

This used to be a great hotel. Not sure what happened. Stayed 3 nites .. room was not cleaned nor restocked until I tracked down a staff member on day 3. Looked forward to the large hot tub … dry walled in and not available. No chair in my room to sit in other than a desk chair. Won’t be staying again. Was staying one nite for business and 2 additional nites personal. Informed them of this upon checkin and was told to check out in the morning and come back at check in time the following day ???? Lounge staff were very nice.

Receptionist were professional

Amenities are always consistent. Pool was cooler than it normally is (it’s usually quite warm) during our last visit which was disappointing so we didn’t get to go swimming.

Need to start accepting DEBIT CREDIT OR CASH! I had no idea they had a shuttle from the airport … someone at the airport told me. The shuttle driver was great! Stay was 8/10. Would have been more if they accepted debit credit.

My room with the king size bed was fabulous. All of the appliances were modern. I especially like the shower and the toilet. And had a grab bar for safety, for the shower that is. Even the lighting was fabulous and there was a microwave,, coffee maker, microwave add infinitum. This will be my go-to place anytime I visit thunder Bay from this day forward. The staff were absolutely terrific and so is the food.

I would highly recommend to stay at here.The Valhalla is an older hotel near the airport that has been updated and well maintained. Bring earplugs.because the planes fly over early in the morning. During my 5 night stay, my room was very quiet, towels brought to my room when requested and cleaned after 3 nights. Great value for the price.

Very good place. Nice and far from the craziness of the city. Safe and quiet.

Rooms arent very clean matresses are filthy had to change rooms not the best place to stay at

Fire alarm went off 3 times

The pool, and the ambience is very good with friendly staff. Lovely place.

When we arrived there had been a small snowstorm. The snow had almost stopped falling but the area outside the door had not been shoveled. I slipped in the snow and nearly fell down. My knee was very badly twisted and I cannot walk. Last night I reported this to a young woman at the front desk and asked her to file a report and to provide me with written confirmation that she had done that. She said that she would notify her supervisor who was not on the property. I said that I wanted email confirmation last nigh that I had reported this incident. I did not receive any confirmation. Last night I was unable to sleep because of the pain. I am now going to a hospital in the U.S. to have the knee looked at.
