Horrible lying people at front office. Everyone should video their room when arriving and especially video their room and how you left it when checking out. Scammers

Basic needs met, $20 a day to park your vehicle. Did not feel nd out until check in. It’s hidden in the small print when booking. Money grab at the last minute.

Well maintained place that has a very inexpensive shuttle

They started charging 20.00 per day for parking. I think this is a way to make more money considering we paid for the room. They changed their breakfast. They used to make a different variety of food for you to choose from now it is the same thing every day. The mattress is very very firm not comfortable.

It was good except they have started charging for parking, 20.00 a day and the breakfast has changed a lot. They used to make several different foods now it is scrambled eggs and sausage links everyday. We liked the potatoes and different pancakes they used to make. My husband liked the grits. But they stopped all that. I really don’t like that they charge for parking when you already paid to stay there.

The hotel is a little outdated but clean and staff was friendly. We only stayed one night but would stay again.

The convenience of the shuttle that takes you to historic downtown.

I was charged a $20.00 fee each day for parking and 11% sales tax. This was not listed when I booked the reservation.

Breakfast was just meh, your regular eggs, bagels, etc. Service was average overall, front desk staff was helpful except when we checked out, they charged us for parking, which we were not told about at any point of our stay, except at check out time. When we booked our stay, it stated ON THIS SITE, that all fees were included, so we should not have been charged these extra fees. We will not be staying here again.

This hotel was rated a 2 star! Whomever rated it doesn’t know anything. A 4 star, staff was fantastic, rooms were spacious and clean, big pool. All the visitors we talked to were very happy with Southern Oaks Inn. Back in October and will rebook with them!

Enjoyed stay

After I paid and I could no longer cancel. I received a msg that I would be charged an additional deposit of $150.00 plus $40day parking. When I arrived I was actually charged a "locals" fee of $300.00 plus the parking. It was too late to cancel. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

Staff are very friendly! Received personal greeting texts before arrival. They pay attention to details in service and room preparation. Very large and clean pool.

We had a problem with the AC and the staff was very attentive. They could not fix it so they moved us to a different room. Comfortable and enjoyable.

Everything was great except they took out the station where someone is fishing the breakfast to the guest...this lead to people cutting in the line . reaching across people ect...not good

$22.30 parking/other fees not disclosed when I checked in. Location was okay, but not worth $20 per night for parking. And not even close enough to downtown to walk feasibly, esp. in the summer heat. Wish I’d read previous reviews which warned of hidden fees.

It is very convenient to downtown St Augustine. Very affordable, clean, safe and friendly staff!!!
