Loved the unique decor, amenities and the room was very comfortable! Pool & hot tub were nice but busy. Location is on a busy street, but also makes for a quick bus commute into downtown (10 mins) Great staff! Only thing (and I should have clarified) it’s a walk up so be sure to ask for a ground floor if you need it. Otherwise great!

My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying in the rebel room. The room was small but the decoration and layout made up for it. We checked in with the “thrift queen” who was kind, patient and very helpful. We were advised of grandmothers basement and the breakfast times without being prompted. The best part of the entire experience were the amenities. The pool, hot tub, pool room were all amazing. The slide was closed when we arrived but it opened the next day and it was awesome (very fast)! Breakfast was not included but the breakfast at Ruby’s was delicious and the portions were big. We did not get a chance to enjoy the complimentary bike rentals but my daughter and I are already planning our next trip! Thank you!

Washroom is a little small but the vibes, the staff, price, location and the overall accommodation out-weighed the washroom issue!!! And yes the coffee is good!

My goto hotel for trips with my grandson. He absolutely loves the pool and waterslide but his favourite place is gramma basement where he gets to hang out and play pool in the 80’s vibe basement . Ruby’s restaurant is alway excellent as well. Great location with a chill vibe and VERY kid friendly.,we’ll be back!

From the moment we booked, the hotel reached out to us in welcome! We were told to leave no request unasked so, I mentioned that my granddaughter was having a birthday. The staff was amazing and had a ballooning of the room, a card and some wonderfully little gift items. Our family shared two rooms and we can’t wait to return and maybe check out the cottages and or the airstream! We used up all our coffee and cream and more was quickly provided and not the usual hotel swill. Real coffee, real cream in eco friendly reusable jars to enjoy the French press. The common areas were well designed for activities of every age. My son and his 4 year old delighted in Candyland. The older children were tickled by the technology of our times with working phones, typewriter and phonograph. There’s even a pool table. Welcome everyone, you have found the place to stay!

The rooms were decorated so nicely in a 70s theme. The staff were so friendly and helpful with any request. We will definitely be returning.
