I stayed for 3 days, and from the very first day I requested slippers. I was told they were already sold out. I even asked them to reserve a pair for me when new ones arrived the next day, but somehow there were still no slippers available during my entire stay. It was honestly shocking that a 4-star hotel could not provide enough slippers for its guests. The housekeeping was also disappointing. There were some things left on the floor that should have been cleaned up, but even after the room was supposedly cleaned, they were still there. I also noticed hair left behind, which made the room feel poorly maintained. Breakfast was another big disappointment. There were no basic salad or fresh vegetable options at all. The breakfast only consisted of about three kinds of bread, yogurt, bacon, sausage, omelets, and fruit. Charging $30–40 for such a limited breakfast selection is honestly unbelievable. At the very least, fresh vegetables and a proper drink station should be provided. There was not even a beverage corner, and I had to ask for water separately. On top of that, Wi-Fi in the room required an extra charge, which is something I have almost never experienced before. Since the hotel is quite old, the air conditioner was extremely noisy, and the refrigerator in the room did not even work properly. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had.

Beautiful lobby, spacious room, clean all around

Everything was wonderful overall. However, Room 1410 had two issues in the bathroom. First, the water in both the sink and the shower drained very slowly. Second, the bathroom ventilation fan was covered in a thick layer of dust, which made me question the cleanliness standards of such an otherwise excellent hotel. Aside from these concerns, everything else was great.

I checked into the Omni King Edward Hotel after an exchausting flight (> 18 hours) from Sydney to Toronto. Upon arrival, I was greeted at the check-in desk by a very friendly Associate Mr. Park. I really appreciate him making the check-in process smooth and fast. To my delight, I was upgraded to the hotel's best suite, which was very comfortable and well-appointed, providing a much-needed respite after such a long journey. The associate also introduced me to the hotel bar and provided me with a complimentary drink coupon. I decided to dine at the bar that evening. The food was delicious and the local wine (suggested by another gentle female associate at the bar) was excellent, making for a wonderful dining experience. The room was large, clean and elegant in keeping with the hotel's history. The toiletries and personal care items were from NEST (New York). Overall, the exceptional service experiences, the room, and the dinner made my stay at the hotel highly memorable. I would like to express my gratitude to the entire team, especially the one at the front desk during check-in, for making my stay so enjoyable!

Wonderful hotel. It's in the old town the most of the buildings around are relatively new but the street is not too busy as it is for some of the other hotels. We had a suite on the 15th floor which far exceeded our expectations. Was very comfortable pleasant. I especially like the lobby classic beautifully maintained, and pleasant to be in. Next time, whenever, we come back to Toronto there's no question that we will be staying here.

This is my second time at The Omni King Edward and I just love it. The location, the decor, the size of the rooms, the upkept standard of the hotel, the helpfulness of the front desk and concierge....just so pleased.

Beautiful, clean hotel in a central location.

I loved this hotel. I would highly recommend that you stay there not only because it’s a convenient location, but it is a stunning hotel. If you love architecture, you must stay here just to be able to take a walk and take it all in. If you like lattes, the one I had downstairs were pretty darn good too.

My stay at The Omni King Edward Hotel was outstanding. The staff's attention to detail truly set the experience apart, and the room, service, restaurant, and spa all went above and beyond my expectations. I would happily stay here again.

From the moment Sean greeted us at the front door, everything about the hotel was five star. All staff was friendly and responsive.

Lots of add ons. My bathroom light wasn’t working when I called reception to tell them about it I was charged, I was also charged for using Wi-Fi even though I signed up for their membership program. Towels and linen were less than spotless, I found a few hairs that weren’t mine. Very impersonal, I won’t be visiting again.

I had a great stay! Everything was very nice - there was one hiccup but the staff addressed it quickly. The staff made my stay effortless and even remembered my name. It was very nice.

A wonderful First time stay! The spa was amazing!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by a room upgrade as we were celebrating our anniversary. We found the rooms and beds to be very comfortable. Definitely worth the splurge to stay at a nice hotel like this one.

Very attractive rooms with high quality amenities. Staff at the desk was extremely helpful with directions, food suggestions and anything else we needed. Overall a great hotel!

The hotel has maintained a dignified, stately approach to guest services. Requests are considered and the staff try to make your stay as personal as possible. The rooms are beautiful and it is one of, if not the quietest hotels I have stayed in. The layout of rooms keeps the noise at bay.
