The night clerk was perfect It took us until the 3rd room to find one that didn't have black mold. The morning clerk was horribly rude, inattentive and took 15 minutes to acknowledge us. Not professional at all. And nobody at the counter. When we told her that there was mold in the ice machine. The clerk just said "who care".

Quiet clean and very nice

Worst property I’ve ever stayed at. Really gone downhill.

Our room had multiple lightbulbs out (even a lamp without a shade and the light completely unscrewed). The sheets had a cigarette burn in them. The curtains had small holes and tears all over them. There was no do not disturb sign in the room, it took asking the front desk three times before I could get one. The TV barely worked. Everyday during breakfast there were multiple sketchy people getting breakfast that did not seem to be staying at the hotel. Many people around the facility that felt unsafe. People at the front desk were unwelcoming and not helpful except for one (I dealt with 3 different people). Though the facility stated no smoking, the hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. I will not be going anywhere near this hotel again.

We knew it was a 3 star hotel, but it was night time and we were tired. The bed was comfortable however the top sheet had a small stain and the bathroom looked like it wasn’t cleaned well…the toilet had a ring and there was a hair on the rim. Shower had good water pressure. When we left in the morning, there was a strong gas odor in the hallway.

The hall and stairs were dirty. As we unfolded the beds we found bugs on plain view. It was just disgusting!

It was real quiet and most of the staff are friendly and helpful.

Clean and comfortable. Older property but well kept up.

My room was not very clean and smelt of smoke. The lady in the room a few doors down found dog poop under her bed.

Rough night at this Red Lion in Kelso. I reserved here due to previous stays in 2018-2019, and 2020.I was delayed checking in due to people needing their room keys redone.The front desk clerk was having difficulty with the machine and had to restart her system. Room was fairly clean and I was looking forward to a hot shower. Unfortunately there was no hot water and I took a very cold shower. It took awhile for the room to warm up. I put my take way dinner in the microwave to heat. The microwave door would not open so my food was stuck inside. I went to the inroom phone to call the front desk, but it had no dialtone.Looked online for a local phone number insteadof the corporate 1-800 number and called the front desk with my cell. Lisa answered and was very nice.She said she would look for a screw driver and be right there. She and I worked together for about 10minutes trying to pry the door open. We were both out of breath but were able to get my food out that was now cold again.I did not put it back in. In the morning I tried to take another shower hoping for warm water but it was only room temperature so I just used the sink to re-wet my hair.Breakfast was good and filling.Went to the front desk to ask for possible toothbrush since I forgot mine. The front desk person was caught up reading something and took quite awhile to acknowledge me. She had extremely thick bejeweled eyelashe on which was interesting. She brought me some toothpaste but was unable to find a toothbrush.

Stayed here for a change due to an online offer but there are much better maintained hotels in the area for about the same price. The lobby is nice and the staff friendly, but my room was in need of a deep clean. Black mold on the shower curtain, yellow stained walls, refrigerator was left wide open when I walked into the room, an iron but no ironing board, and very cold in the room all night.

The carpet and furniture were obviously severely stained in multiple areas. The shower curtains had mold growing. The sheets and towels looked clean though.

There is no hot water. Shower was cold.

It was nice and quiet. Some of the staff were fantastic. They really went out of there way to help me

Good service

Room said Non-Smoking but people were definitely smoking in, around, above or below. Its was baked into the AC Unit.

Service was great. Room was average. Bed was firm but had one king size pillow which was great. Blackout curtains were old and leaking light. Breakfast was great.

We didn't stay. Wasn't able to get a refund. The first room was dirty, the next room was worse. Said they didn't receive payment for my stay so i paid again. That's 300.00 dollars I'm out. Remember we left that motel and went somewhere else. I want my money refunded.

This property has been in the area for years. The only thing I would like to see come back is the restaurant and bar that was on the property. With enough advertising letting the locals know it's back, you could have more business.

Rooms dirty and unkempt in so many ways. Very worn furniture with stains, mold in bathrooms, unsatisfactory.
