Good pool should stay open later for adults

Great Resort. Family loved it ! Gary the server in Sushi restaurant was awesome.

Great place

Cheeca Lodge never disappoints. The grounds are well maintained. The pool area is beautiful. The golf course is great for short game practice. The only drawback is the smell near the beach area at low tide, which disappears at high tide.

Amazing resort

I was very impressed with this hotel. It’s a beautiful property and is way more lush than I had imagined. The service was top notch as well. Next time I will book for a much longer stay.

When we arrived at the property we were told they were completely sold out for the night, including the restaurants. We checked in and had a drink at the bar while we waited the hour for our room to be ready. Just after 4 we were alerted to the room being ready and then upon checking into it there was a clear smell of someone previous smoking in the room. We immediately called the desk and they told us there was one other poolside room they could move us to and the manager Natalie would be up to show us the room. It was not at all comparable to the 375+ room we had paid for so we asked for alternatives. We were told by Natalie that she could have the team add an oxidizer to the room when we left for the evening and would provide us a 200.00 credit on the room so we could enjoy dinner at the resort. After being told at check in that the resort restaurants were sold out we had a drink at the bar there and then took an uber to a nearby restaurant. The team did the oxidizer as promised and the room smelled slightly better upon our return. The general condition of the property was average… and most definitely anything that made me think I was at a 5 star resort as the online bookings showed. There are many safety and electrical issues around the property that draw a fine line between what is a non pool water feature versus a pool… with many exposed lines in places children would not know the difference. The mattress in the room was terrible as well

This is a beautiful resort and the staff is very friendly and competent.

The pools and Jacuzzis were very dirty.

The beach was an extremely dirty the food wasn’t that great at the restaurant. There wasn’t much to do because of the wind they closed all activities.

Cheeca is a classic island resort in desperate need of leadership, updates, and a vibe. Howrver, we loved the spa treatments and Tennis pro Tim.

We had a great time here. Great for the kids to swim, run around and also be beach side and play in a sand box. Live music in the evenings was a big hit and the food was excellent on site at every restaurant. Downsides- I thought the pool area could use an upgrade (lounge chairs and things are old and could be so much more beautiful) and when trying to coordinate kids activities and sitters, they were not helpful at all and the people at the kid area were young and not very good at customer service or finding helpful ways solutions. Other than that it was a great experience.

Absolute favorite place to stay ! Every year ! I recommended to my friends and family several times, and every single of them super happy with this property! Property is amazing, stuff amazing, ambiance, hospitality, rooms, everything 5 stars. I strongly recommend for you to go ahead and book, because you gonna love it !!!!!
