At first, the room was prepared for someone else, room service drink did not come as ordered, the cafe had terrible wait on the food(both breakfast and lunch), and no apologies from the staff. The individual components are good but the service connection needs major improvements.

Excellent property. Reasonably priced for the top level service and comfort you get. Food was good. The front desk and concierge staffs are top notch. Overall, a 10 rating from me. I will definitely return.

The Mark is nice but it’s also one of the most expensive 5 star hotels, Manhattan. The problem is it’s pretty plain compared to the other hotels in the area not much stood out. I will say, their service and hospitality was great. It’s one of the few hotels that acknowledged my Expedia status and honored my discounts and late check out. The in room dining was about the same as the peninsula or the plaza.

Hotel rooms very comfortable and bathrooms generous but dining room and food was very disappointing . You cannot compare the dining room decorations and quality and choice of food and service to the Carlyle Hotel across the street where we usually stay while in Manhattan. I would never go back to the Mark highly overrated !
