Great property in a great location and fabulous staff

I was staying with a friend after a concert at the O2. The room was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that we were put in a disabled room, which did not bother us but was at the back of the hotel right next to where all the deliveries came and went which made it quite noisy during early hours .

The hotel is convenient to mass transit, and the breakfast buffet is outstanding. However, we had a room that was quite a distance from the main building where the only ice machine and restaurant were located. Access to the street is almost impossible for those with mobility issues. There’s a very steep driveway with no sidewalk, only stairs. The ferry to Canary Wharf is excellent, though it’s quite a hike to the Canary Wharf Station. My husband has knee issues, so we’ll stay elsewhere next time we visit London.

Nice and spacious, arrival cookie and the free ferry were a great bonus for the kids also free breakfast for the kids with a paying adult. Bit tricky to get to from main stations but once you are there and have access to the main ferry it is great!

It's my 3rd time to stay at this hotel in the last 6 weeks, it is fantastic, the team are wonderful and it is so comfortable and spotlessly clean. Nothing is too much trouble for the guests.

Brilliant service, location and amenities

This was such an amazing stay! Came over for the London Marathon and booked a room sort of at the last minute. The staff was very warm and welcoming. From the front desk, breakfast, maintenance, absolutely the best. Breakfast buffet was exceptional. Loved that it was in a quiet neighborhood. Loved the ferry to cross the Thames. If I ever come back to London, this property will be at the top of my list to book.

An absolute gem of a hotel! Really loved the ferry service and was pleasantly surprised about the option. Breakfast had a great assortment and staff were kind and very helpful. I personally liked that this hotel was located away from touristy areas of london, it just felt really quaint and slow paced.

We’d a fantastic time as a family visiting London at the Double-Tree Hotel. The Ferry across to Canary Wharf was a fantastic service. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.

Ich habe für 3 nächte gebucht für 5 Personen. Ich habe beim Check in dem jungen Mann gesagt dass ich mit dem Auto gereist bin und hätte gerne ein gemütliches Zimmer. Daraufhin hat er uns ein kleines Zimmer gegeben Indem wir mit 5 Personen schlafen sollten. Ich bin wieder runter zur Rezeption und habe das Zimmer reklamiert in Anwesenheit des Hotel Managers d plötzlich waren doch gemütlichere zimmer frei die wir auf zusage von hotelmanagers bekommen haben. Frühstück war sehr lecker.

The free ferry over to Canary wharf was the difference that made it five stars. Otherwise you have to take the bus every time to get to a store/other restaurant. The familyroom for five was very good. We didn't have any warm water in the shower last evening/morning. But we have nothing else to complain about! We had a very nice stay!

Även om deras kaj var under konstruktion så fick man taxi service gratis till närmsta nästa kaj för att ta sig över till Canary Wharf
