the room smelled like someone had just sprayed bleach in the bathroom ,the floors did not look vacuumed,there was a big red stain on the carpet, we had the impression that we were getting a room with a balcony that was actually outside facing the river,it was not . the building itself is very nice,but we would not have reserved a room knowing the balcony was on the inside of the building with nothing but other people on their balconies to look at ,that's just not our cup of tea.will not be staying there again ,also we were not aware of a 40 dollar a day parking fee until we were there and checking in and could not cancel.

We love everything except the fact that we couldn't get a room with a balcony when we made the reservation and that kind of messed up my boyfriend's birthday trip. Other than that, we had a great time

Everything was amazing! Love the location and all of the employees were awesome! Food was great and we had a great weekend!

Beautiful Scenic Riverview. We really enjoyed are stay at the Marriott.

I think it is crazy to have to pay $40 a day and $12 for wifi

Pool was not clean and surrounding not spruced up for summer - no pool service either as far as food or drinks. Not enough luggage carts.

Air did not work well in room and shower clogged up.

Very nice property and superb staff. The river deck right on the Savannah River was a treat. My only negative was the parking fee. Considering the room price you would think parking your car in an open lot would be free?

The hotel was very nice, clean & properly updated. A very nice lobby, bar & common areas with direct views of the river. We were in a “partial ocean” view room yet it was a full on river view. From the 8th floor it felt like being on a ship. We watch the massive barges carrying cargo go back & daily. The hotel staff was very friendly & helpfu. As our 1st visit to Savannah. The only negative was the pool which was on the side with no views & looking into the parking garage next door. With the high temperatures while there we didn’t try to use the poo; as there was not even a breeze due to the buildings blocking it. An unexpected nice perk was the local water type taxi dropped off & picked up directly behind the property, allowing to travel free down the river to the center point of the river walk action. The boat was very large & clean & consistently on schedule. I would recommend if you book here to request at least a partial river view. It was enjoyable even without a balcony. I do recommend the Marriott Riverfront Savannah.

It was awesome. Clean and nice bathroom.

The staff were all very friendly, the hotel was clear, the riverfront view is beautiful, and the river street area is awesome. We only had two complaints: the pillows and the air conditioning. The pillows offered very little support, our heads sunk all the way into them. My wife and I need our bedroom to be cool to sleep and the air conditioning never got the room very cold.

The only thing else you need is a hot tub and for the pool to stay open later!
