Amazing as always

It was a great stay and after accidentally breaking a mirror the hotel accommodated me perfectly and made the situation easier to deal with.

We booked this hotel because we needed something down town within walking distance to the Scotiabank arena. The price was right however the room had no air conditioning, the pool was freezing even though they advertise a heated pool, the sauna didn’t work and we were also told if we parked in the parkade attached to the mall, they would validate our parking. When I brought my parking ticket to the front desk person, I was told that they don’t validate the amount, they only validate so you come and go as you please throughout the day. When I told her I didn’t need to come and go, that we chose this hotel so we could park and walk where we needed to go, she advised me that I didn’t understand the definition of “validating parking” and that I should have given them my ticket when I checked in. I will never return to this hotel.

Helpful staff

This hotel accommodated me by keeping hold of my winter coat and winter clothes while I went on a trip to a place with a warmer climate until I returned. They also accommodated me when I requested a late checkout (because I arrived late at night). Overall the staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

The hotel is right across from Scotia Square, which has a Lawtons and a food court, as well as right across from the airport bus drop-off and pick-up. The staff accommodated me when I requested a late check-out so I could relax until I had to catch the airport bus for my flight.

The staff were great and the room was dated but clean. The only issue I had was that I was led to believe that the parking was free. They did validate but I had to pay 60$.
