Was great location

We had a miserable experience, with the toilet flush not working on the last day. The room was a ok with the loud AC going on all night as it was not temp controlled. I felt the stay was not worth the money and certainly not happy with Expedia’s misleading rating of very good.

Paid for parking at the front desk and was required to pay again at the gate prior to leaving.

The area was not the safest at night, but hotel was clean and secure. Proximity to the boardwalk was much appreciated.

It was a hotel and the beds and rooms were clean but the first room I was in had a Murphy bed with a large gap behind the head of the bed where pillows inevitably would fall through in the middle of the night. So large I was able to put my suitcase behind it and there was still room. I brought this up to the front desk staff and their only solution was to upgrade my room at my expense. The lobby area is not representative of the rooms. While clean, entire décore and furniture is extremely dated. Gym facilities has very old machines and it’s a very small space.

Hotel is great but the parking isn’t. You need to park far away from the hotel and walk back as the hotel has no parking but it is close to the waterfront which was good for us as we didn’t need the car until we left.

A basic hotel that's in a great location. The most reasonably decent hotel in downtown Halifax.

Clean, well maintained hotel. Convenient to Ferry, Citadel, Train Station and all downtown Halifax attractions. Will stay again

The most important issue with this hotel was the access to the parking garage, you have to go through a maze of hallways and elevators. Very time I tried to find my Cari would have to ask at least 3 different people and some times they were confused. This was very frustrating, the garage is used for different businesses and other hotels. The room was not very clean, with no maid service unless you stay for 4 nights or more. I have been in better equipped rooms in motels, they they are at least clean and with easy parking at your door. This hotel should be ashamed to charge the rates they ask, plus parking at $30 per day. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone else.

old facility, should be refreshed

Downtown Halifax is expensive and this is one of the hotels which cost slightly less. Saying that, our bathroom fan didn't work (front desk didn't fix it), there was old food smelling up in the fridge, and we had to request a microwave put in our room. The stay could have been better for $300/night, but being in downtown Halifax was well worth it.

Please let customer know on arrival that you need to ask to have new towels every day and garbage cans emptied

As read in prior reviews. The hotel is in a great location. It is extremely dated.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times in the past when it was under the Delta banner. Feels very much like the Delta has pulled out due to lack of investment and quality of services. Hotel needs a complete overhaul. Staff is a skeleton crew no bellboys no parking assistance. Parking is in a parking garage on the next block, which is very inconvenient places very tired and smacks of an owner, who is not interested in investing to keep the property up to the standards of hotels in the rest of the city.

The hotel room was nice but the wifi was very spotty. Alot of the time it didn't work. The bath dispensers were horrible. You could hardly get anything out. We only at breakfast in the restaurant and they got 3 of 4 orders wrong. I rarely saw anyone eat dinner there. There are lots of great restaurants nearby. The hotel is in a great location. All major attractions are in walking distance
