I loved this quirky cute motel. I hope I get to stay here again!!

I recently stayed at this hotel for four nights and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. While the property could benefit from some modern upgrades, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms more than made up for it. The accommodations were not only well-kept but also very reasonably priced. The pool and outdoor areas were clean and inviting, and the staff was consistently friendly and attentive. Despite a few areas that could use improvement, I felt comfortable and well cared for during my stay. I would gladly return if I find myself in the area again.

I stayed here in early July 2025 and had one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever encountered. At around 2:30 AM, I felt something crawling on my neck. I turned on the light and found a live bedbug. After thoroughly inspecting the bed, I discovered another one crawling near the pillow. I documented everything in photos and video. I immediately packed all my belongings and notified the front desk. The night staff provided bags and detergent but told me I would need to speak to the manager in the morning. When I did, I was assured I would hear back from ownership, but I never received a formal incident report or follow-up about covering the additional costs I incurred to clean all my clothes and treat my belongings. While my room charge was eventually refunded, I was left to deal with the stress, hassle, and extra expenses on my own. It is unacceptable to encounter bedbugs in any hotel room, and I would strongly recommend other travelers reconsider staying here. I have attached one of the photos documenting what I found.

This was a very cute place. The room was fine, and the pool was a nice addition on a hot evening. Everything was close by, including some nice bakeries and a brewery. The woman running the place was curt and seemed "above" doing this work, not welcoming. It was very awkward asking for food behind the counter, but I suppose there has been too much grift from people taking more than their breakfast and so they've instituted more severe policies to preserve themselves.

Loved this quaint hotel. Wonderful staff, very accommodating, not “chain-like”. Will stay there again on our return trip home.

It was a wonderful atmosphere, and a very pleasant place to stay. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay at an affordable rate!

The first night we got to the room it was as it was the previous time we have been there. At some point during the second day, we noticed two very large black bugs, crawling in the room on the ceiling, and we were unable to reach them in order to try to dispose of themso with that being said, we were not able to sleep the second night of our stay. We tried to reach out to the front desk to see if we were able to move rooms to no avail. We have never had anything but pleasant experiences. We would appreciate a refund whether it be full or partial.

Great value and outdoor seating around pool. Bathtub that works. Older but very clean and some updates.

Great!

Stayed here while a family member was having surgery. Staff was very friendly. Place was quiet at night and during the day. Very accommodating for my situation has I didn't know how long I was going to be here. At the end of the regular reservation, I was easily able to extend my stay day by day without changing my room.

Okay for price. Breakfast was lacking a bit.
