What a lovely, comfortable stay we had! The hotel had been updated and it was beautifully appointed with everything we needed. It was super comfortable and quiet. We also appreciated the lovely landscaping that they put behind the hotel. It was a very good value for the money and we were able to travel and see Newport and other nearby destinations.

Staff was great and the hotel was really nice. Enjoy and short drive from Newport! Good price for what you get. The beds were super comfy!

Our 3 night stay was wonderful. The entire staff was friendly and helpful . Our room was cleaned in a timely manner daily. The hotel has casual / family friendly seating in the lobby and a nice bar. The commute between Newport in the hotel is very short. The hotel is also conveniently located near a slew of restaurants , a wonderful winery, local bookstore and standard shopping area.

Excellent location for Newport Jazz Festival. Short uber to ferry. Clean hotel. Pool. Breakfast. Would stay again.

Great stay, fantastic location, great on site restaurant, comfortable beds. Water in shower was lukewarm and would not get warm.

Amazing place to stay. It’s updated so looks nice. Clean. Staff was amazing. Super friendly and over and above helpful.

We specifically asked for pet friendly area for our 2 rescues when we booked hotel. We were told large grassy fenced in area by pool. Once at property we were then told we could not use this area and had to go outside in front of hotel with cars passing and construction debris. The staff was nice about it, but it made the trip difficult. We were also put in a room with a barn oor to bathroom that would not fully close and asked to be moved to another room. The staff was accommodating and the updates were nice we just wish we had been told property was under construction and truly not pet friendly as hoped.

I’ve stayed at this hotel two years in a row now for Newport Folk Fest. It’s comfortable, clean, and convenient in all the ways I need. I wish there were in-room microwaves and that they used fitted sheets (the flat ones they use bunch up under me). Otherwise, I have no complaints, and I plan to continue staying here for future festival weekends.

Only stayed for 1 night so didn’t see much of hotel. All was good with our stay. Only critique: kind of weird and inconvenient not to have an elevator when you have 4th floor rooms.

Incredible staff, beautiful outdoor pool, and most of all this hotel exceeded my family expectations!!! Great location !!

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The only issue I had with this hotel was its restaurant. Absolutely horrible food and service. Would never eat there again.

No elevator and the pillows were not the best.

I had a room in another hotel but there was a water main break so I walked into The Pell and asked if they had rooms available. The front desk gentlemen was so friendly and helpful so I booked two nights there. Very convenient to the beaches and restaurants. The room was very spacious with a pull out couch and very modern. The pool was very nice and the outdoor space too. Definitely will go back.

Lovely property. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good and included with the room. It was easy to drive to Newport but obviously would have been more fun to stay in town. The only negative was that I noticed they charged me for breakfast when it should have been included. I called to dispute and it was easily fixed. I would not normally call this out except I saw people had issues with smoking charges when they didn’t smoke so…..? The pool looked inviting and wished we were staying another day to hang out there for a bit. I would definitely recommend this place.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Restaurant was very good. Staff was polite sbd friendly. Menu could be more varied.
