A hidden gem!

Overall my stay was great it is a beautiful hotel and everyone was very kind. The walls are very thin between rooms and my hallway was very loud late in the night.

good location, walking distrance to shopping

My sleep was interrupted around 2:30 AM by a group of 2-3 men arguing somewhere outside my room. My room was 225 right by the stairs and facing the driveway. I did tell the front desk when I left today! Perhaps I could have called the front desk at that hour !

Very nice hotel close to some excellent restaurants and bars. Right on the water. Recommend rooms on main level as it was a bit of a trek (inlcuding stairs) to our lower level room. Would love to go back in the summer to experience the pool etc.

Great place but the tap water in the bathroom was brown!

We had a great experience at the Hotel. The bar and restaurant views overlooking the Navesink River are amazing. Breakfast was amazing at the hotel restaurant.

I enjoyed my stay. Room service menu could be better, more choices. Otherwise no complaints. The location is excellent. Red Bank has so much to offer. Shopping, Count Basie theater, cinema that plays a variety of different types of movies that are not in the big cinemas. I will definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel well appointed with great staff. I did not find the mattress quite comfortable but that could be all me. Very clean and I felt quite safe as a single woman.

Staff was friendly and the room was comfortable.

The hotel is a historical hotel in Red Bank and a beautiful lobby, bar and restaurant. Breakfast was very good and affordable for the style and price. Certainly on par with some of the other places for breakfast around Red Bank. The bed the room was comfortable and they were able to provide non allergenic linen and pillows upon request. The room we were in was probably the smallest in the hotel and felt cramped. The bathroom was tight and had no water pressure for a good shower. Something that a hotel of this caliber shouldn't have an issue with. There was also no refridgerator, but they were able to accomodate without any problems. The other annoyance was music being piped through the hallways, even during the night and as this is an old hotel, it can be heard and unfortunately, it's pop favorites and not something tranquil, so for light sleepers it can be heard through the walls along with other guests speaking in the hallway. Would I stay there again? Possibly, but would make sure what the room would be before confirming.

All was great except i have room in basement and i have a handicap and elevator did not seem to go down so that was tough

Everyone was kind and very helpful.

Shower didn’t work properly. Toilet seat would not stay up. Bartender was unfriendly and snobbish. Not happy!

Excellent restaurant and bar--Karl best bartender in NJ, Matt, Virginia, Renata, Rob also excellent. All know their profession. Elaine super waitress. Property beautiful and location stunning. Highest recommendations for Molly P.

Love this hotel. It has history, lovely staff and actually likes welcoming guests.
