I had very disappointing experience at this hotel. when I picked up the two suitcases I had left with the hotel before check-in, both were partly open. One had a cover, but when I removed it, I found that about two-thirds of the zipper was undone. The other suitcase had a lock, but somehow it had been opened, the insider zipper was undone,and some of my clothes had been fallen out. I tried to report this, but there was no phone in the room. when I went down to the reception, it was crowded with people checking in. After trying twice,I gave up as I could not find what had gone missing. Overall, I cannot recommend leaving your luggage with this hotel.

Hotellet gir inntrykk av å ikke ha fulgt med når det gjelder modernisering og vedlikehold. Enkelt utstyrt rom, Veldig myke ( og gamle?) senger. Manglet papirlommetørkler på badet. Frokost på søndager bår tilpasses de reisende som skal ha første fly ut. Det kunne vært løst med en enkel buffet for tidlig reisende istedenfor ingenting.

Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt. Alles perfekt. Mega Frühstück, tolle Saund und eine super Lösung mit dem Zugang zum Schwimmbad. Durch die Panoramafenster hatten erstklassigen Blick auf die Polarlichter.

Helt ok, men et lite rom til den prisen. Frokosten veldig bra!

Is good , the bad thing is room cleaning, past 6 days without clean

Coffee maker in the room or tea maker. Phone in the room. Plastic bags for females. Bigger TV with more international channels. Something open or organised for the New Year Eve.

Maten var veldig god. Senga på hottelet knirket, var veldig hard og air-conditioning på rommet funket ikke.

There is not much option for vegetarians. And no halal food at-all

This room seemed to be a bit older or maybe other rooms I’ve stayed in have been updated recently. This does not take away from it being a pleasant stay and a comfortable room. I am a solo traveller and it was good for me being the queen bed option. I feel a couple might be a bit tight but definitely doable. The staff were very friendly and remembered me. Got me in a tad earlier than check in, which was appreciated. The local bus is only a short walk to the hotel, and the town is so small that you could walk anywhere in the main “city” from the hotel. I will stay here next time I’m in Alta.

The location was great. I had a room facing the Northern Lights Cathedral which got nice views with the northern lights one night. The room was comfortable and a good size for one. Staff were very helpful, however sometimes during busy periods it took a long time to just purchase a bottle of water. The breakfast was good and varied and if purchased at the hotel cheaper than what was charged when booking. The local bus stop is 100m from the hotel so it was cheap and easy to get from the airport to the hotel. There were two nights that the restaurant was closed due to functions that wasn’t communicated to guests. Besides all of that, an excellent hotel in a great location!
