Good location, plenty of parking and excellent breakfast

Overall all good; not much vegetarian options for the residents in dinner; good breakfast; coffee machine probably not working permanently

Great friendly staff. Room and hotel clean and welcoming

A very nice stay. The hotel is a mile from the park and ride which was cheap and very efficient. The only issue we had was evening meals Poor menu, too much spicy on it. While breakfast was good evening meal was very average and poor choice unless you like spicy food

Excellent hotel

Great staff lovely refurbishment on reception anf bar area. Rooms could do with updating.

The bed was torn on the corner and had some sort of stain on the divan base the general condition of the room looked tired I thought I might have got something better for my £135

Hotel fine, night manager zero common sense and competence.

It’s convenient to York, but a bit tired, could be doing with a face lift,

Not clean. Run down. The bathroom in particular was not well cleaned. The corners of the shower had pink slime, the tile was moldy in spots. The door frame around the bathroom door had a large bkack smudge.

Good location by the racecourse. Excellent choice for breakfast. Spacious area to eat.

A pleasant stay, friendly staff

We stayed for two nights. The breakfast had alot of variety and was quite economical as kids were free. The sofa come bed was not comfortable. The room was pretty standard in general.

Bathroom was not cleaned properly

It was horrendous, you could hear every single noise. The walls were so thin they may have not even been there. The guests on the other side were awake from 5am, shouting, singing, slamming doors. Every time a door slammed we sat up thinking someone was coming in through the room. The shower fell apart

We had an pleasant stay and all staff were very friendly. We ordered some snacks on one of the nights at 9pm and were told tge kitchen is closed. But when checked in we were told we can order till 9.30pm. So we told the receptionist named Erin, who was very helpful and reported this. Later we went to our room and got our snacks on the house,which we were not expecting this. Erin was very professional and polite who dealt with situation which we appreciate it dearly. Breakfast was great!
