The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of town and the facilities, including a pool, sauna and steam, are more than adequate. The choice at breakfast was really good and we also had an evening meal in the restaurant which was delicious. The staff were friendly and polite. The only downside was the bed as the mattress was not great and so I didn't get a good night's sleep. The lack of support in the mattress meant we were constantly rolling into the middle of the bed. It's a shame because otherwise I'd heartily recommend the hotel.

Breakfast was not free but worth the price! The staff exceptional! Our room was clean and front Desk could not have been more accommodating!

Great large room and comfy bed. Friendly, helpful staff and easy online check-in. Car park available under the hotel for a small fee and great location.

Great location

This was a great location, within walking distance to city centre with all the shopping and pubs. The staff were always very friendly and courteous. A star removed because it seemed like the room had seen better days - some stains in the carpet that haven't been able to be removed. Not a deal breaker, but not pristine.

Vid dagliga städningen byttes endast handdukar ut och sängen bäddades. Hade föredragit ett hållbarare alt som att t ex behålla handduken under hela min vistelse för att spara på miljön, men att få rummet dammsugat, spec toalettgolv. 2 av 4 nätter tog det ca 5min för att få varmt vatten i duschen. Hade otur med att få rum som vätte ut mot "de hemösas"gata, så det var väldigt stökigt och högljutt på kvällar/nätter med skrik och bråk, kändes otryggt att gå utanför hotellet på kvällen.

Hotel in excellent area, room clean, enjoyed drinks in bar.

Good location but visible signs of the hotel being outdated. Room was not properly cleaned (dust on counters)

Great place to stay. Really pretty. Lobby smells like a fancy hotel. Staff were all so friendly

The checkin clerk was SO helpful. We had issues with our ferry and bad storms and travelled through the night arriving 12 hours early. He found us a room so we could get some sleep (and it was a lovely room!) Thank you

This hotel is in a wonderful location. And the staff at the front were super helpful and very friendly. However, I had booked and paid for a "Deluxe Double room", and ended up with 3 beds, none of which were very comfortable. But the front desk staff actually more than made up for it with just their overall pleasant nature and recommendations for the city.

Horrible place. Only location is helping this property to exist. 250€ for one mid-week night plus 20€ carpark and another 20€ breakfast which is super limited. Room filty and for this price i got disability room what a joke. Never again. In my room i felt like i am starting in homeless shelter which is right beside the hotel.

The hotel staff were wonderful and very helpful. The location was great for anyone that wants to be able to walk around the city and not have to drive.

Great staff lovely porridge options

The Suite we had overlooked the river, and was absolutely beautiful! The Staff were lovely and so very helpful in recommending their favorite places to eat, to visit, etc.. Our Suite was large and beautifully furnished. The Clayton was close to so many wonderful things.

Balcony was scenic. Bars and restaurants in walking distance.

We checked in, and were told our room was in a different corridor. We were supposed to have a king room, but were given a dirty apartment with no sheets (didn’t notice until it was bedtime), pillows, AC. When we spoke with the staff, they lied to us about everything. I even asked for more pillows, the clerk said they’d be sent up. Never happened. Terrible customer service on their end. If I wanted a dirty air BNB, I would have booked one.
