Hotel was nice! Nothing exciting. A bit out dated but that doesn’t affect the stay. Staff was very friendly. Hotel room was fine, bed comfortable. Faucet in bathroom was a silly design…made water go all over the sink every time you washed your hands. Could have been a little cleaner in areas and the breakfast we ordered was cold by the time they served it to us. Loved that they had a shuttle from hotel to the shopping and restaurant and gave you a tour along the way! The driver was so nice and sweet!!

Check I person was a bit rude during check in. Also tried to call the front desk but the phone wouldn’t connect

It’s a beautiful place and great amenities. We didn’t get any sleep because kids were making noise in the hallways until late and an elevator alarm was going off for a long time in the middle of the night. I feel like I should’ve been given a discount for not getting to sleep in peace and quiet considering how much I paid to stay there.

No complaints, we enjoyed walking around the dock and seeing all of the boats.

I booked a king size room but was put in 2 queen bed size room. It was difficult because we have a 1 year old and they were out of baby cribs

The people who work there need training. Dont know how a huge corporation like Holiday Inn has such poor, if any training to their staff

The hotel was beautiful

The hotel was dated and the room was kinda falling apart. My kids almost got stuck in the bathroom because the door handle didn't work. Everything just seemed cheap. We were given vouchers for a free breakfast at the restaurant but that turned into a disaster. The waitress at the restaurant was mad the hotel gave us free vouchers and she was very unprofessional. We ended up with only one free breakfast. It was not worth the price of the room. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Property is in a great location, we were downtown in 6 minutes. Shuttle service was friendly and on time. Staff was friendly and efficient. My only complaint was the upkeep of the building. I wouldn’t say it was dirty as much as in need of better upkeep. It’s obviously a well used, popular hotel and the wear and tear is starting to show. I would stay here again, but would feel better going into it knowing the conditions and having better expectations.

First time visitors to the Grand Haven area - excellent location even for riding E-Bikes. We had a great time, hotel was perfect and we will come back again ! The hotel staff is under staffed but they all worked really hard, we were impressed - very clean ! On site restaurant and bar were very nice too !

Never again Girl at front desk lied and said no top floor rooms then she magically found one. That room was nasty bug filled on balcony window flying bugs. Room had bad order of not being cleaned over time. Tub had dead roaches in it. Clearly she gave me the garbage room. The phone didn’t work I was only told after check in due to a power outage that happened 2 days prior to our check in! Some stranger knocked on door one time and said maintenance but we never called maintenance!!!!! We called front desk to warn them and the manager Angela/laura didn’t seem concerned like oh well it’s nothing. We called guest relations and told them of incident and nasty room and they didn’t care either. They only said they would check with front desk and call us back BUT NEVER CALLED US BACK TO FOLLOW UP. They didn’t care either and we have been members since 2017!!!!! Once we came back to rest for evening we stopped at front desk to get key card programmed again and the lady was so nasty and not friendly and took the card in the back like she was talking to someone double checking if we should be there!!!!!! YES WE SHOULD BECAUSE WE PAID IN ADVANCE FOR 2 nights!!! Well we will never be back again. This ended our stays forever.

The hotel is very nice, well stocked little shop, and friendly staff

Great Hotel! Location was close to Grand Haven State Park, we stayed for the Kite Festival. Check in was quick, staff was friendly, room was really clean and quiet. Pool area was great, hot tub was a bonus. Loved how the hotel was on a channel so we could watch the boats on the little boardwalk and we could walk under the bridge to a great little Bbq place, Dr Rolf’s Bbq. Breakfast was amazing, the ladies in the morning rocked! So friendly. Will definitely recommend and sty again if in the area.

All in all was good experience other than the room was a ice box and thermostat never seemed to work. Outside weather was in 40's yet the ac was blasting and we kept trying to turn up heat never seemed to work ask at desk for maintenance to take a look at it never got confirmation but at 11:30 at night didnt care just wanted to sleep. Curtains were busted sliding door need alot of work. I have stayed here before and was always beautiful has gone down hill quite a bit since I was here last.
