It was an unpleasant experience. The reception staff said that no reservation for my name. She asked for confirmation so I showed her the confirmed mail from hotels.com. She did not even check it properly and she was irritated by saying, "How do I know Chinese?" (In fact, it was Korean. Calling all Asians to Chinese is racism. And Netherlandic language was listed together in the mail as you know.) Finally, she explained that the reservation was omitted due to computer error, and never said sorry.

A decent hotel, great location, and the bed is great! Overall does not appear very well maintained though.

위치가 매우좋다. 유명한 성당 바로 앞이고 야경 찍는 스팟도 가깝다. 무한리필 립 식당 아마데우스도 호텔 바로옆. 직원들고 친절하고 객실도 좋았음

Very nice location, proper breakfast (great croissant!), friendly staff, safe neighborhood, nice, clean room with a fridge and a hot pot. I really enjoyed my stay!

The property is sadly lacking in maintenance. We have stayed in Novotel’s in other countries and had higher expectations than what we were met with. Paint peeling in the shower, bedside light switches, broken or missing, blackout curtains old and tattered

Supersentralt hotell i Gent. Ved å gå ut døra var man rett i sentrum. Også fint med basseng, selv om jeg ikke brukte det. God frokost. Men hotellet begynner å nærme seg behov for oppussing , for eksempel litt oppfriskende maling. Også mye tepper i gangene og på rommet. Rensligere og bedre er parkett. Bevilg noen kroner til opp-pussing !!

Nice Hotel located perfectly in the city. Staff was nice, the breakfast was good and overall everything was well organized. Only stayed for two nights but it was really enjoyable.

Old dated hotel. Very expensive average breakfast. Staff people were nice.

Ideale ligging in het centrum van de stad. Vriendelijk personeel, vlotte check in. Zwembad is buiten, niet overdekt en niet verwarmd. Neem zelf badslippers mee! Voldoende badlakens ter beschikking. Wellness is aan de receptie te reserveren en gratis beschikbaar, maar omvat slechts een stoomcabine voor 3 personen, sauna voor 4 personen en douche. We hadden eerlijk gezegd iets anders verwacht, maar waren toch heel blij om daar even te kunnen relaxen. Kamer en badkamer/toilet zijn aan een opfrisbeurt toe. Hier en daar wat slijtage op de kamer. Bedden en kussens waren niet erg comfortabel. We sliepen er 1 nacht tijdens de Gentse Feesten en waren heel blij dat we niet ver moesten wandelen. Het nachtlawaai in het achterliggende steegje onder ons raam namen we er maar bij, dat was op dat moment moeilijk te vermijden ;-)

Got in early and the room was suitable, big and reasonable, but a little dated. Only one towel, so rang down, didn't make a fuss as let in before 3.00pm The room was facing the bell, near St Nicholas church, so relevant to noise from the various Ghent Music Festival sites, but the sound proofing was excellent, so didn't bother us. The room was very hot and the heating / cooling system was old, noisy and inefficient, and the hotel was aware of this as there was a large fan, which only dissipated the hot air around the room, and the window if opened allowed the noise in. Second day we had to ask for two towels again as one only left, and only one tooth brush etc. We booked the sauna in the hotel, free which was great on Saturday, and did the same on Sunday. When we trekked back across town for 7pm, only to be told it was already taken and no record of our booking.

Amazing property - loved the pool!! Close to everything. Expedia reservation said breakfast included but they wouldn’t honour it - that’s the only issue. Otherwise highly recommended

Service at counter was great. However - bo functioning airconditioning at the complete second floor of the hotel whiel it was +30 degrees + a party going on outside untill well after 12. For that kind of money (+250 a night) absolutely not worth it
