It was an unpleasant experience. The reception staff said that no reservation for my name. She asked for confirmation so I showed her the confirmed mail from hotels.com. She did not even check it properly and she was irritated by saying, "How do I know Chinese?" (In fact, it was Korean. Calling all Asians to Chinese is racism. And Netherlandic language was listed together in the mail as you know.) Finally, she explained that the reservation was omitted due to computer error, and never said sorry.

A decent hotel, great location, and the bed is great! Overall does not appear very well maintained though.

위치가 매우좋다. 유명한 성당 바로 앞이고 야경 찍는 스팟도 가깝다. 무한리필 립 식당 아마데우스도 호텔 바로옆. 직원들고 친절하고 객실도 좋았음

Very nice location, proper breakfast (great croissant!), friendly staff, safe neighborhood, nice, clean room with a fridge and a hot pot. I really enjoyed my stay!

Airconditioning not working properly during heatwave. Accomodation worn down. No solution offered for booking problems. Very little value for the top price paid.

Först skulle man checka in online med passnr och allt men väl framme på hotellet behövdes allt göras igen, strul med diverse papper i pärmar och allmän ordning vid incheckning. Långt den sämsta incheckningen på våran Europaresa denna sommaren. Dörren till rummet var halvtradigt och varken barn och fru kunde öppna den. Kändes som handtaget eller karen skulle gå sönder när som. Det bästa med boendet var poolen! ☀️🏊‍♂️

Отель в самом центре города — рядом кафе, рестораны и вся городская жизнь. Во время нашего приезда город готовился к фестивалю, поэтому были перекрытия и сложно было подъехать на машине. Парковка при отеле была занята, пришлось оставить автомобиль в 300 метрах за 30 евро в сутки. Большой плюс — бассейн: небольшой, но в жару было очень приятно отдыхать на удобных лежаках. Несмотря на центральное расположение, номер выходил на тихую улицу, поэтому мы хорошо выспались. Хороший вариант для тех, кто хочет жить в центре.

Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was great. Location is exceptional. Pool area is lovely and atmosphere is very relaxing.

Great location in the city centre. You can walk to the main attractions (all within a 10 minute walk). Room was clean and had no issues. Hotel has a pool and restaurant/bar which is great for relaxing. Staff was friendly and helpful when I needed to print train tickets.

Hôtel en plein centre historique ; staff aux petits soins (très souriant, proactif et motivé) ; petit-déjeuner formidable et très bien tenu notamment par un mr. qui travaille dans cet hôtel depuis plusieurs années ; terrasse/bar très agréable avec grande piscine ; grandes chambres propres, agréables et fonctionnelles. On se sent toujours très accueilli et à l'aise dans cet établissement !

À notre arrivée le jour J, nous apprenons que la Clim ne fonctionne pas dans l’hôtel. Impossible de trouver un plan B sans perdre les sommes avancées. Nous avons passé une nuit très compliquée : chaleur malgré la présence d’un ventilateur, fenêtre entre ouverte mais donnant sur une place avec un bar générant des nuisances jusqu’à 3 h du matin ! Le petit déjeuner pas trop mal sauf qu’il a été gâché par une chaleur étouffante dans la salle. De ce que l’on comprend, le souci de Clim ne datait pas d’hier, pourquoi personne ne nous a prévenus avant notre arrivée. Bref, nous n’y retournerons pas malgré sa situation centrale.

This hotel is well located and the staff was kind, unfortunately the place is very very rundown and in great need of updating. I would guess that the carpet in our room was from the early 90s. Everything is faded and chipped. We came here specifically for the AC and it was broken for our second night. The pool was nice and redeemed the stay but there are much nicer places to stay in Ghent. Hopefully they can update this hotel soon. It’s far overdue.

Trevligt med ett poolområde, men när det är 35 grader varmt hade det såklart varit bra med någon form av skugga runt poolen. Typ parasoller.

Great location. Exactly where you want to be when visiting for a short trip. The room was great. The onsite parking was also great but be aware that you drive through a pedestrian zone to get there, we panicked a bit.

Love the location and the size of the room. It’s right in front of the first attraction and you just keep following the street and you will see the next few attractions within minutes. The shower pressure is good although the bathtub is too high for me to hop in and out because I am short. Wish they have a mini fridge in the room. Overall I recommend this hotel.
