The room which was supposed to be a single deluxe was at the very end of the hotel and when first entered was very cold and even smelt damp,reported to reception advised maintenance would attend , a gentleman turned up with a electric heater and confirmed air con heating had not worked for some time ,if felt like I was lodging at rigsbys rising damp lodgings not a quality hotel.

Cold room, stripped bathtub, the carpet in the hallway with stains and smell status. The staff was okay, no problems with them. But the hotel doesn’t deserve 4 stars. Maximum 2.

Staff friendly check in and out fast. Room small -heater i plugged in as don’t think heating worked. Had a shower. Room clean. No fridge. 1 had room 522. Enjoyed the stay but would request a different room if ever there again Breakfast good plenty it it and coffees nicecoffee

Had a very poor experience. Air conditioning unit in the room didn't work so I had to use the plug in electric heater as the room was freezing. The shower temperature thermostat seemed to be broken and even on the coldest setting is was too hot to fully submerge yourself. There was a real risk of scolding if set anything above this. The TV channels also didn't work. All of these were reported to reception on leaving. Apart from a verbal apology and promise that these issues would be looked into there was nothing offered in the way of compensation. In general the place is in need of some TLC. I will not be staying there again. There are much better places to stay nearby.

We had a great evening and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous, even the fussiest foody would of enjoyed it. Staff were helpful and new what they were doing.

An enjoyable couple of days at the Hilton. Perfect location for the NEC. Breakfast was amazing, room was nice and staff were friendly.

Room was really cold with no ability to increase the heating. And the room was above the delivery shutter, so there was noise all night long including screaming. Bar and choice of food looked good. It just didnt provide a decent nights rest before a large event the next day.

Good hotel, but very poor check-in experience Our stay at this otherwise nice hotel began with a very disappointing check-in. Despite arriving at 3:30 p.m., our room was still not ready. Nadia at the front desk was rude and dismissive, telling us to wait 10 minutes with no apology. When we returned after 10–15 minutes, she again responded rudely, saying it had only been eight minutes. A few minutes later, she refused to serve us altogether, forcing us to rejoin another queue and wait an additional 20 minutes. As a Hotels.com Gold member and frequent business traveller, I have NEVER experienced such unprofessional behaviour, especially at a Hilton property. Fortunately, Abud at the second desk was courteous, apologised and offered us three drink vouchers as compensation. Aside from the check-in issue, the rest of our stay was pleasant. The breakfast and pool staff were friendly and professional, and the facilities were good. Overall, I can recommend this hotel—but I strongly hope management addresses the behaviour of certain front desk staff to ensure all guests are treated with respect.

Very nice hotel. The only reason I have marked it down slightly is that the toilet in our room would not flush properly which we reported within an hour of arrival. This was not fixed despite us being here for 2 night. That said it would not out is off staying here again.

The hotel was extremely busy . The staff did really well managing check in breakfast and bar service and should be commended . There was a difficult group at a wedding and they appeared to manage them with efficiency and without fuss

Great stay but my only complaint is check in…. I’m a disabled traveler and use crutches , I stood in a long Que for a long time yet no members of staff offered any help to me. There should be a disability check in. I stay here year after year and nothing changes.

I was woken up around 3am by someone trying to open my room door. It was a very distressing experience — I felt unsafe and unsettled. When I contacted reception to report it, the staff simply replied, “Unfortunately there are a lot of drunk people at the hotel tonight,” and took no further action to check or reassure me.
