Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral im Ortsteil Sao Martinho von Funchal. Sehr gut geeignet für Ausflüge über die Insel. Die Anlage besteht aus 3 Hotels, deren gemeinsame Außenanlagen (Pools, Gym, Bars, Restaurants) von allen Gästen genutzt werden können. Die Außenanlage war wunderschön angelegt und gepflegt. Wir hatten eine Junior Suite, die groß und sehr gut eingerichtet war. Alles war sauber und heil. Leider hatten wir keinen Gartenblick, sondern direkten Meerblick, der allerdings über einen großen Supermarkt-Parkplatz und darunter liegende Restaurants ging. Dadurch eher laut und viele Gerüche. Die Verpflegung war sehr gut, reichlich und abwechslungsreich; wir hatten Halbpension. Der Service an der Rezeption, dem Restaurant und die Zimmerreinigung waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und umsichtig. Unseren Mietwagen haben wir in der Garage gegen Aufpreis (10,- €) abstellen können. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt aber sehr gut gefallen - können wir guten Gewissens empfehlen!

Huone oli erittäin siisti ja viihtyisä. Koko hotellialue oli hyvin hoidettu, siisti ja rauhallinen. Aamupala oli erinomainen. Suosittelen lämpimästi tätä hotellia.

Wir hatten Meerblick. Das Zimmer war hell und geräumig. Es gibt genügend Möglichkeiten, die Sachen unterzubringen. Es hat uns gut gefallen.

Great facilities, beautiful gardens and view, well maintained. Buffets (dinner and breakfast) didn't have great equipment to keep the food warm, but otherwise good (though the multitude of mousse type desserts really all taste the same). Very quiet and comfortable room. Hotel completely ignored my request for info on public transportation and only promoted its linked taxi service which I didn't appreciate.

Staff at the reception counter were professional, courteous, and helpful. Staff in the restaurants could have been a little bit more helpful but no big deal.

Not the best modern room, too close to the morning buffet. Everything was very audible unfortunately, also I got bed bugs. The cleaning lady was so sweet but she did not fill up tea every day . Very good surroundings. The hotel is only for pensionist. So no younger people there. But overall okay, not but not value the money (almost 10,000 DKK for 1 week/room) Very good

Das Zimmer/Studio ist ist gross und bietet ausreichend Platz. Der Kühlschrank hat sogar ein Eisfach und in der kleinen Kochzeile findet man alles was nan braucht. Das Hotel ist schön eingerichtet, aber man merkt vorallem im Bad und dem Teppichboden im Zimmer, das die Anlage schon etwas älter ist. Hier würde eine Renovierung gut tun. (Heute verlegt man hygienische Fussböden). Alles andere ist gut.

Beautiful grounds, good breakfast, helpful front staff. Hotel location great, very close to a bunch of great restaurants and central, but still offers such a nice and peaceful get away from the hustle of the city . Would love to stay again.
